The size of the room, the large bed, the location, ease of access, the instruction were very clear and easy to follow, free standing bath and rain fall shower.

The property has been decorated to a very high standard with some very bespoke features.

Parking was a bit of a faff.

Really good value for the money paid. The room was comfy, warm and clean and it was only a short walk into Ambleside. It was perfect for walks on the surrounding fells and to Grasmere. Quiet location.

The Log House is nothing less than exceptional, from the ease of parking, check in, the beautiful rooms with every need catered for, the location is perfect and the views are everything you'd want. We have truly found our Perfect Stay in Ambleside!!!

We loved this overnight stay. The room was exceptional the location was fantastic. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

The room was ridiculously hot and there was no method of turning the heating down. We ended up opening a window as wide as possible, which unfortunately meant we heard road noise but it helped cool the room down a little. Sadly the bathroom also looked a little tired and in need of a spruce up as silicone around the shower tray in poor state of repair and tiles by sink had presumably been replaced but weren't a good match.

Nothing we didn’t like. A bottle of water in the room would’ve been good as the tap in the bathroom was only warm/hot so we couldn’t drink it.

Very good location and good value for money. Staff is friendly and helpful, even helped us check-in a bit early which we really appreciated! Room was cosy, clean and has everything we needed. Instructions for check-in are also easy and clear to follow.

Nothing really, had to park over the road in the public car park but it wasn’t far and was reasonably priced. I know how parking facilities are hard to come by in Ambleside.

Being on second floor, in hindsight I should have requested no higher than first floor. Having to pay for parking, surely the owner could sort an arrangement with carpark owners to enable guests to have free parking overnight.

Very clean, good decor never thought grey could be relaxing. Bed comfortable, carpet lush and thick, blinds as well as curtains definitely kept light out. Room well laid out, not cluttered and plenty of lighting when needed. Did not meet any staff, that suited me as I'm a private person. Loved that you can see the beams and roof height in room.
