Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWhat a fantastic place for a short break! We experienced a beautiful part of the country, escaped from the world for a week and my boys (10&14) thoroughly enjoyed the time on the bus and exploring the local Moores.

United KingdomNothing really. Just go prepared for the weather. Cold this Oct so we took throws and a hot water bottle …only needed when the very efficient wood burner died down at night.
Location/viewssuperb. Concept …brilliant. We loved the experience of living so close to nature - like glamping but better! Hosts Ian and Sarah have thought of everything …including delish fresh eggs from their hens.

CanadaI think it was expensive for the level of amenities. Running water to wash hands at the toilet would be nice, and a roof over the picnic table so you can sit outside (it rains every day in Devon)
Quiet location

United KingdomJust remember it's a bus so facilities are limited. It all worked well but don't expect a luxury hotel and you won't be disappointed.
It's a really novel and interesting place to stay. Quiet and peaceful. I loved just sitting and keeping the wood arrive burning while reading a good book. The owners were really friendly and were always there to help if needed but have us or space too.

United KingdomToilet facilities, no light in there apart from the torch light. Walk down to the toilet in the dark.
The Location was perfect, peaceful and relaxing listening to the birds. The Megabus was comfortable clean and well equipped for cooking. Unfortunately we were unable to use the oven due to owners awaiting a part to fix it. Had a barbecue and seating area beside the bus. The owners could be contacted easily and were very friendly and lovely people.

The peaceful location, the views, the bus itself makes this place my top holiday stays. Sarah and Ian are such kind people, fresh milk, eggs and home cooked brownies on arrival. It is my go too place.

United KingdomWe booked the Mega Bus for two nights as a girls weekend away. But was very disappointed on the second evening when the owner approached us outside while we were trying to relax to say he was very sorry but the Mega Bus had been double booked. That he had it advertised on two websites and a couple had booked it that day. When we had returned from our afternoon out earlier in the day we noticed there was a transporter van parked right near the mega bus. We had wondered why this was. Turns out the owner had said this couple could stay in it until we left the next day. We felt very uncomfortable with this because it would mean we would have to share our facilities with them, also there was not even a lock on them. The reason why we booked the Mega Bus in the first place was because it was secluded. Which as a girls weekend we thought it was perfect as we wouldn't disturb other people with laughter and noise. The couple also had a young baby. So we made the decision to leave that night as we just did not feel comfortable. As we were worried we were going to disturb them and they were worried they were gonna disturb us. Also I didn't think it was very good that the owners allotment was right by us too. So wasn't private as he came up to go into his allotment during our stay.
That it was well equipped and clean.

United KingdomNew furnishings, or duvet covers - all a bit worn! Think the buses door should be open to the little outside! Could convert a bit more and add a toilet!
The bus almost had everything that you needed but i cant get my head around that you have an inside shower but no loo! The grass wasn't cut around the outside loo so got wet every time ! Inside was a bit damp or cold too the touch. Could update furnishings! Wasn't easy to find ! Bit pricey - we thought !

United KingdomDidn't like it when it was time to leave!
Everything really! The location and views are fantastic. The bus is unique and a special place to stay, eclectic and also so well thought through with everything that's provided, from washing up liquid, to fire lighters, towels, bedding, and outdoor seats and picnic table with large umbrella, and a fab fire pit. We had such a great time, and felt so chilled out, being off grid, and listening to all the bird song. It's also great for accessing a whole range of places, local facilities, shops, etc and attractions.

United KingdomNo mains electricity. I needed power for my CPAP machine but no mains power. This should have been made clear on promotional information, would not have booked if known as this seriously affected my sleep. Also my wife unable to use her hair dryer which was a bit of an issue for her Mattress on bed very poor quality, basic. Cleanliness of accommodation not the best, superficially clean only.
Location was fine, bus was fairly roomy. Nice and quiet.
