Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo complaints
Location was amazing, out in the wilds with only nature to enjoy. The pod was exactly right, nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed and a good sized en-suite bathroom which was very clean. Tea, coffee and snacks were a welcome addition as were the fridge and microwave. A beautiful off grid hideaway.

LatviaWe don't view these as issues and they don't take away from our amazing stay. Our only comments were that the cabin had a few cobwebs and dust here and there! The grounds also had some litter left over which was unfortunate as our dog ate the remnants of a cream egg 🙈😅 but that fault is more in whomever left it!
Perfect wee get away location, in a nice secluded area but still close enough to sites, hills, cafes and restaurants!! The weather was on our side and we enjoyed nights of BBQs and fire pits, hearing the local owls and spotting deer in the distance! The bed was lovely and warm, could not fault the facilities (they were all as described in the description) meaning we could come prepared with suitable food, warm clothing etc. They are dog friendly and although the hut being a cosy smaller size still fits a medium dog crate. Overall, our three night stay here was all we were looking for, a simple, off the grid cabin to reconnect with nature all while being a step up in luxury from camping!! Could not fault the view!!!

RomaniaThere was no issues
- it was really away from any noise, lightening etc, a truly virgin location - the host was very helpful and provided us with charcoal for bbq and logs for a fire for just 5-10£ - the cabin itself was very well insulated and warm during our stay - we had everything we needed

Location was amazing. Highly recommend walking up to the local monument. We were only one night (to break up our drive from leeds to Gairloch Beach) but Steve made us so welcome. We lit a fire and had a picnic with the most wonderful views. We had everything we needed for the evening, including lots of delicious biscuits which we demolished.

United KingdomA beautiful place next to the forest, easy drive to it, clean and comfortable with everything you need, large bathroom. Very friendly host, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Their house is next to the Pod but you have your privacy and if there is anything you need, just ask them! Peaceful and quiet, cosy place with barbeque, watching the stars. The only noise is the deer in the forest! An absolute gem!

NetherlandsFrom the description about the Nest Glamping Pod I thought that the West Highland Way was just 15 minutes away on foot. But it meant 15 minutes by car. No big deal, because that was my misinterpretation.
We spent 2 nights here and we had a wonderful time. The weather (during daytime) was good so we could have breakfast outside in the sun. Steve and Sonja are really nice, friendly and inviting hosts. They gave good tips for walking and Steve made a reservation for us in a good and dog friendly restaurant. That was really nice. The Nest Glamping Pod is small but cosy. The first evening it rained so we stayed inside but that was nice, warm and cosy. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom was quite large and clean. If you like tiny housing this is a perfect place. We made a nice walk to the monument uphill from where you have an stunning view. It was also a wonderful place for our Golden Retriever. He could be off the lead all the time. The description Steve sent us about how to drive to the property was very clear and helpful

United KingdomAbsolutely wonderful couple! We first arrived and got a warm greeting from Sonja who kindly took us up to the pod. We had a lovely conversation. They were a lovely couple and even have wood on offer for the fire. Dogs were very friendly and she made sure we had no issues with the dogs before letting them out to say hi😊. We had a lovely meal that was only a ten minute drive from our stay (which they recommended) will definitely go again!
