Only that we couldn't stay for longer!

In these times of general decline, The Poplars Guest House is a lesson to others. The place is situated in lovely grounds in a quiet street close to the centre of Pitlochry. The general standard of the guest house and our room was amazing: clean and full of style and Scottish character. The double suite was spacious and comfortable - somewhere we would have loved to have spent several more days relaxing. Everything just works and we could see the attention and care that was put into every step of our stay. We had attentive, welcoming hosting throughout and enjoyed a nice breakfast prepared to order. Pitlochry itself has plenty of places to eat and drink as well as walks to explore - we will definitely be back and will cross our fingers that The Poplars is available.

Stairs are always a challenge with luggage, but they were expected and no real drama.

Gorgeous property, very pretty and clean rooms. Lovely facilities, and a comfortable living room for guests to relax. Hosts are absolutely lovely, and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Breakfast was delicious, and served with kindness and generosity.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the mountains from the dining room, guest lounge and bedrooms. Two minute walk to all shops, bars restaurants and tourist attractions. Fantastic breakfast with two fantastic hosts, Nancy and Scott. 10/10

This Guest House is such a treat! We were welcomed in such a lovely manner. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious & exceptionally well appointed. Breakfast was amazing. You make your breakfast choice the night before (too help plan & avoid waste, love this idea!). Parking on site. It's a short walk into town.

Nancy and Scott were the perfect hosts, lovely welcome and couldn't do more for us! The guest house has a nice resident lounge and sun room, and breakfast was served in a separate room. Great location on the edge of Pitlochry, on a hill with lovely views. Great choice and freshly made breakfast. Comfy beds and nice decorated rooms. Great place and will definitely be back.

Everything! Beautiful house in a lovely location, short walk from town centre. Very quiet. Spacious bedroom and well equipped en suite. Very welcoming host who ensured we had everything we needed. Great breakfast choices and property is spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to dislike.

We liked everything. From the moment we walked into the Poplars it was like being greeted by friends. Nancy remembered us from the previous year and took the time to chat to us before showing us to our beautiful room. As we would not be seeing Nancy the following morning at breakfast she advised us it would be her friend that was working and what an absolute delight she was also. We did not catch her name but she was absolutely fantastic and could not have been any more helpful. The Poplars is the most beautiful hotel run by the most beautiful people and I can’t thank them enough for making our 2nd stay just as fantastic as the 1st. We will absolutely be back.
