Not much not to like really (other than a ‘massive’ spider sitting on the bed to greet me!)

Check-in was well-organised and straightforward. The place was clean and comfortable, with a fridge, microwave and cutlery. Excellent shower.

Beds being bolted to the floor would of been better if could of pushed beds closer together or maybe a bed guard available could been handy but would probs need 2 or 3 bed guards and had to instead cushion floor and try and push some chairs against beds

The toilet seat was a bit wobbly. I appreciate the warning about the little step in front of the shower but did seem a bit precarious.

It's located on quite a busy road and although the room was at the back of the building the traffic was still fairly audible. The fridge itself was also pretty noisy overnight, although I did get used to it quite quickly and managed to sleep well. It's worth bearing in mind that I'm used to the silent countryside and am therefore quite sensitive to night time sounds, so the noises I'm describing may actually not be that bad for most!

The room and bathroom were very clean with a very welcome surprise of complimentary water and juice in the room's fridge, as well as an electric fan - perfect for me as I arrived during the heatwave! The room itself was compact but just what I needed for a night.

Fridge was a bit noisy. There is the option of switching this off but we couldn't as we needed cool drinks to use during the extreme heatwave weather . The noise added to loss of sleep also early morning Traffic. We had to keep window open during hot weather .

Just a shame the the bathroom is located in one of the rooms which made it a bit awkward if the other person need the toilet through the night.

I did not realise that the location was somewhat out of town so getting to a restaurant meant that we had to take the car into town. Not a big problem but something to be mindful of. The front room was a bit noisy due to traffic passing by through the night. The back room unfortunately had a flashing light (probably from a smoke detector).

The rooms were well equipped with plenty of amenities. Everything was in place for our late arrival and we were able to find the keys to our room thanks to elaborate instructions. Beds were comfortable. There is on-site parking at the back of the house which was helpful.

There was one set of disposable plastic cutlery between two people, with two bowls and two metal spoons (which were very useful). We will take a large towel ourselves, towels were too small for us (personal preference). Main thing was noise, it is on a busy road with lots of traffic noise especially with windows open, and squeaking doors. Staircase would be difficult if you had mobility issues.

Convenient for Asda and other shops. Rooms not large, but good sized and with most things you could want. Definitely we all agreed we would stay again, as very much met our needs especially with microwaves and small fridges. Hospitality tray is a lovely touch. Shower good and powerful.

Fridge was very noisy so had to be turned off at night, and it didn't keep our food very cool as a result. It also appeared to trip the power at some point. Bathroom was not ensuite.

Spacious triple room, very tidy and everything was very clean. Great hotel for a short stayover; there was a fridge, a microwave with bowls and spoons, and even an ironing board! Only downside for us was that the bathroom was not ensuite, but had to be reached via the hallway. Not a great problem, just a little bit of a hassle using the key every time. Very tidy and clean bathroom though (and very big!). The building was dated but the staff had really made the most of it and it just felt tidy and comfortable overall.
