Excellent location , lovely clean accommodation. Only downside was the very early wake up call thanks to the co-op delivery van.

Unusual set up for coffees etc outside of the bedroom, with no place to wash dishes. Table in dining area appears broken and fridge/freezer needs a good clean. Whilst it is a great location for the ferry, it's very noisy as is right on the main road and traffic runs past all night. Could do with some lighting along pathway in winter.

Very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Large bathroom with amazing shower. A great location for Kennacraig ferry terminal. Bedroom areas and bathroom very clean. Lovely plush carpet.

No heating in the bathroom and the central heating ie the radiator did not work in bedroom there was an electric one but that also went off.

Position in town was good, the room was large and clean.

I arrived late a night and the stairs up to the property could benefit from a light also in the dark the keys holes weren’t the easiest to operate.

Room was spacious, had everything I needed for a one night stay. Really can’t complain about the room or facilities for the price. For somewhere to stay after getting a late ferry back from Islay before driving home the next day, this place was ideal.

The whole layout was a bit strange, like we couldn’t use the kitchen but we had dishes etc, so I don’t think you could stay for more than one night.

Walls are thin and got woken up by a co-op delivery early in the morning.

Location was good, place was easy to find and Shamsul's communication was clear. Check-In and Check-out were easy and at a decent time. Room was a good size for a night and the ensuite although small was fit for purpose.

The entrance, not easy to find and it's an upstairs flat, big Co Op lorry turned up at the door doing deliveries at 7am quite noisy as it is the liading bay

I would suggest putting a sofa in the dining room as extra comfort plus a few more kitchen items needed like a tin opener but this is a new business so I think that the owner has done a great job

Room looked onto the local Co-op delivery area, noise from early morning. Also the rooms panel heater didn’t work and the other radiator temperature was controlled from a central ‘Nest’ thermostat in the communal hall.

Very poor signage to the property along a dark dingy footpath. The key locks were poorly lit and the instructions were for keys to rooms 3 and 4. There were only 3 bedrooms. Could do better.

The only issue was finding it at first, it is signposted and actually really is easy but as always with any place you first visit it can be confusing, so if you are arriving by the coach then its practically a minute from there, when you get of the coach take the first left onto the main road, there is this small sweet community garden area on your left and the accomodation is just past the house directly after the garden, it is down a short alleyway that actually backs out onto the back of the co-op store, so it is really easy to locate, i will not mark down for this because the accommodation is great, maybe a little notice or image of how to find it can be provided by the host but please don't let this change your mind on booking the accommodation as i highly recommend it.

We stayed at the rest for one night as a stop gap to take the ferry to Jura, it was exactly what we needed, perfect central location close to the co-op and center of the town of tarbet. It was actually a really nice stay, the bed was super comfy, a large room with a nice ensuite toilet/shower, the decor was really nice and just what we needed for one night, the TV had netflix which is a necessity haha and the wifi worked great. There was also a dining room of the main hallway that we used to eat dinner and prepare some food, there is just a microwave not a hob or gas cooker so plan accordingly for that, but the co-op provides some great scottish microwave meals that filled a hole. overall a really pleasant stay and would recommend anyone to stay here.

The kitchen facilities were out of bounds during our visit. A few tips, provide waste paper bins in the toilet and room. A room refrigerator would have been nice. 3 Small tables and chairs in the dining area would be better than the one large dining table and chairs. Possibly some clothes hangers

I must agree with first review ,,needs snagging problems (a lot )solved ,,great location but instructions on TV and WiFi have to be more instructive ,, no TV (had to Google about problem TV remote not working ) had to unplug tv plug ,,for a minute ,, then put plug back in ,, more info on TV and WiFi and setting on this
