There was some loud music (unsure of whether this was coming from the bar or one of the other rooms) until around 11/11:30pm. This wouldn't usually have bothered me however it did disturb my sleep and meant that I was tossing and turning until it stopped.

Linda and Tony were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and really nicely decorated.

Great breakfast - we were asked on arrival our preferences for breakfast the next day so everything was cooked to our liking. The room was spotless with a large extremely comfortable bed and the hosts Linda & Tony were lovely and friendly - we recommend!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. You have everything you need - nice touches like bottled water in the fridge and biscuits for your tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

The Hotel is spotless with very comfy beds - essential after a day walking about. The breakfast is wonderful - cooked to your specific order and piping hotel and good quality products used. Linda and Tony are the perfect hosts. They really made us feel welcome and I’d highly recommend their hotel.

Linda and Tony were very welcoming we came to Blackpool for a couple of days. The breakfast was fantastic and it really was home from home. Hope to come back sometime soon.

The quiet location at the south beach area. The friendly and welcoming hosts. The comfortable bed. The single room was small but had all the facilities needed for an enjoyable stay.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Fantastic hospitality. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. I loved the art decor style of the interior. Being able to park our car on the doorstep of the hotel was great and made taking our stuff in easy and stress free. I liked how we were asked what we would like for breakfast, which when we had the following morning was amazing. The shower was easy to use. We had been dancing all day, so the thick carpet felt lovely under our sore feet. A very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The place was good for what I would say I have had some rather unpleasant stays in Blackpool, this was was not the case.

Linda & Terry were wonderful Breakfast was perfect, they even advanced the rooms so we could check in early for our family reunion.

Tony and Lynda were absolutely fabulous and made our stay… lovely to see a couple so passionaite about their business. They were so attentive to everyone. Hotel a 5 minute walk to the pleasure beach and rooms great. Tea & coffee facilities a bonus for me! Lovely full English breakfast! Upon our arrival, the owners greeted us warmly and courteously. They provided a brief overview of the Scala Hotel and its history before asking our breakfast preferences to minimize waste, given the few guests during our stay. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with an ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits, and a small fridge with complimentary water. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-ventilated and at a suitable temperature. Downstairs, there is a bar, a pool room with darts, and a separate sun lounge. Breakfast was served promptly, with the hosts offering tea or coffee and a selection of cereals and snacks before the cooked meal. The cooked breakfast was made to our specifications, accompanied by complimentary toast. Overall, this is a great place to stay, conveniently located just a short walk from the Pleasure Beach and tram stops. We will definitely return in the future.
