Everything about the property was just amazing, the facilities, area just everything about it was wonderful! Our host was so attentive and went the extra mile to ensure we had the most relaxing, comfortable stay. We will be back without a doubt! We especially enjoyed watching the planes go into the airport from the bed!!

Absolutely amazing hidden gem! Carol was so welcoming when we arrived and made us feel so at home 😊 The outside bath is unique and was very needed after we walked 30km in one day! We will definitely be returning as we can’t stop thinking about our time here. Thank you so much!

This property is undoubtedly one of the nicest places that I have stayed! Really felt like a home from home, it was warm cozy and the location was perfect, the views of the animals were a perfect touch to this already perfect property! We had everything that we needed and more! The property came equipped with everything you'd need and even extras like bubble bath bread and even Prosecco which was such a hit after getting ENGAGED HERE🥹 they were the loveliest people we have met too so kind and caring and we will be staying again ! Id recommend to anyone

Amazing night away! Brilliant birthday gift in a great location with lovely walking routes and local pubs. The sheep and cows in the barn were a real hit and added to the countryside aspect. Would highly recommend to anyone especially couples.

So happy with everything. Bed was very comfortable and so warm. Lovely warm welcome. Lovely touch with birthday banner and card and chocolates. We have juice bread and Jam for breakfast. Easy to find. Very clean. Fresh towels and bath robe ready to get in/out of the bath. Me and my partner loved it!! We checked in at 2 and left around 11.

Amazing place to stay. Great being surrounded by the sheep and cows! Gorgeous sun sets. So much to explore in the local area. Feel like we've hardly scratched the surface! So we will return! Great hosts. The outdoor bath is a fantastic idea

The only negative was there could have been better wine glass options. But the hosts were very accommodating and provided what we required within 10 minutes.

It was surprisingly spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Also a good size shower was a big positive.

Everything was perfect! We had everything we needed for a nights stay. There was toiletries to have a shower and coffee, tea and bread for toast in the morning, Also jam if you wanted it. The outside bath was great. We used the bubble bath provided and had a romantic bath, it was raining but the Bath is under cover. The bed was comfy and had a good night sleep. We was greeted by the cows in the field in the morning which was great. Would deffo stay again.

Scenic location, very clean, perfectly comfortable. I was allowed to extend check out time the first day I arrived, which was really appreciated. Was a great opportunity finding this wonderful place to wind down.

Peaceful setting, lovely welcoming host. The Shepherd’s Nest was spotlessly clean, and smelt amazing on arrival. We were greeted by Carol, there was everything we could need, including fresh juice, butter, bread and conserves, which we enjoyed for supper. We ate at a nearby pub, then came back and enjoyed sitting in the warm sunshine, as the sun then set the cows moved closer, and were still outside the Hut, when we woke. Just the finish we needed to a busy few days previous, exploring Somerset, before we continued our journey to family in Dorset. Throughly recommended 💚

It's was absolutely perfect, we only stayed for one night as a little pit stop before travelling down to Torquay to see my brother and his family, wish we could of stayed for longer ,it was so peaceful, definitely will be having another pit stop there next time we go down to the family

Did not realise it was literally next door/within the grounds of the owners house. Would have thought from the description it was a bit more remote.

Wonderful hut, extremely clean and the owner was so welcoming. Upon asking for an arrival time, Carol met us and showed us around and how to use things. Extremely clean and very comfortable. The bedsheets were cows! Although no cows in the field that day. It was on a flight path but coming from Manchester, we are used to that so the planes above did not bother us and it was good to sit outside and watch them. Excellent addition of the outside bathtub, with very hot water and complimentary bubble bath. There is a privacy screen as well from the neighbouring house. Whilst in the bath, three wild deer came to visit the field, which was extra special. Location was great and in between Bristol and Bath, which was on our route. Sitting outside on comfy chairs in the sunshine was lovely. There was no need for us to light the fire. Carol even left us some breakfast items - thank you for this.
