Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I would have liked clear written evidence that a booking change had taken place. This caused much anxiety. Needed - USB sockets everywhere. Cafe too expensive for us!

Cleanliness: -I paid extra to stay in a room with a window, but the window area was very dusty. -The bed was directly next to the window, and I had to sleep with the dust. -It was evident that the window area was not cleaned frequently. I saw a few bugs on the window, and later these bugs came to the bed. I had to remove the bugs from the bed. -The curtain on the window was also very dusty; whenever I moved it, dust spread everywhere, and I ended up breathing in the dust while I slept. -I mentioned the bug and dust issue to the reception, and cleaning was done the same evening, they are so kind. But I would have preferred not to experience this situation at all. I do not plan to stay at this hotel again.
Location: The proximity to the metro and being situated in a popular area is a significant advantage. Quietness: Despite being in a central location, it was quiet, making it an ideal environment for rest. Staff: The staff were very kind and friendly at all times.

The AC Unit caused a lot of dust in our room. The filters need to be changed in there. Furthermore, the windowcills next to the bed where covered in dust. Otherwise totally great
Close to pretty much any station/ place you need to be. The room was nice. We got a bottle of water every day and fresh complimentary soaps. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Breakfast was good but very noisy, other guest and staff made a lot of noice talking on phone and working. Breakfast room was very small not possible to find a a quiet place

If I had to pick fault I would say the beds are so tight around 3 sides as the are against the walls, so if there is two people in the bed you have to climb over your partner to get out.
The property is in a perfect location, staff were amazing, very clean.

The price for the size of the room is out of sync. The room was just wide enough to fit a bed, the shower is tiny, and the claimed desk was slightly larger than a laptop. No closets.
The location was fabulous, close to all the hustle and bustle, but far enough to be quiet. Pretty good connections with the subways. Great places to eat very closeby.

Our room was smaller than we thought, would be okay for one person.
The Hotel is located perfectly near the Trafalgar Square and other facilities. It was easy to reach any parts of the city. The stuff were very nice and always helpful!

My room was immediately next to the bar and lounge, as a result there was some noise when the hallway door opened. You could here the neighbours using the bathroom at times. The view out of the window was a concrete wall.
The room was very functional. It had everything I needed including a nice bathroom suite and toiletries. Even though it is a small room, everything had been carefully planned. This included space to hang a suit, space to store my bag under the bed and USB type C sockets in the wall.
