Wi-Fi in our room was extremely poor.

I think that a car space with your lodge number on it would be better as it was a bit of a free for all especially when unloading near your lodge

This very large hotel could definitely do with a lift. Our room was located on the 2nd floor my husband has breathing problems and all the flights of stairs proved to be quite a problem

The location was quite central for the places we wanted to visit. The breakfasts were very good and the Service was never to much trouble from the pleasant staff .

The per dog per night charges were a surprise for us. these should be clearly stated on the hotels site during booking.

Spacious and well catered for, facilities inside lodge were excellent. Location very quiet and peaceful.

Tiny criticism - nice that there were ice trays in the freezer section, but nicer still had they been filled ready for our cold drinks on arrival! Although the implication on booking had been that the pool and spa had to booked in advance, we`d hoped that it might have changed since covid scare has gone. Sadly not. It would have been lovely to just "pop in", but, to us, a faff to have to book in advance.

Our apartment had just had a complete refurb, so all was squeaky-clean and possibly we were the first guests in. The "welcome pack" was superb with eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, juice, biscuits, jam and marmalade, butter. We were lucky enough to have a lovely view - but not sure that all the others in our rank of four would have had that particular benefit (407 if you want to make a special request!)

The local bus 24 failed to show up about 5 times in 3 days, which meant I had to wait more than an hour on the next one. Twice I had to call a taxi or I would have missed out on an appointment I had made.

I stayed in one of the lodges. It was very spacious and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and there was a sea view as well. It was a lovely surprise to have a basket of goodies including eggs, fresh bread, jams, butter, biscuits and milk. The leisure facilities were also very good, a great location and very peaceful.

We had a 1 bedroom cottage with patio, and it was ideal, clean and comfortable with loads of space. A decent size kitchen meant we self-catered for breakfast and lunch, and ate in the hotel restaurants every evening. The food was good and the staff lovely. We had views over St Austell's bay and the large grounds are beautiful, including woodland walks. Another bonus point was finding you can get a bus from the hotel entrance into Fowey. Reception have printed timetables.

The pool is not part of the main premises.when rainy, it can be a little akward to walk outside to reach the rooms.also, 1 hour session per day is very little time after the amount you are asked to pay.

Wonderful and amazing no complaints

We loved the location. The food was perfect from the restaurant we had 2 nights. The beds were comfy. Beautiful grounds. The hot drinks were right on. The staff were fabulous in the restaurant very professional, maybe one of the guys could have tucked his shirt in to be more presentable, I've worked in hospitality and I've always had pride in my appearance.

Lodge 410 is a well furnished and comfortable 2 bedroom detached lodge set in wooded and grassy headland overlooking Par sands. booked the swimming pool in advance of stay and used the jacuzzi and sauna, nice option in bad weather. Enjoyed the woodland hillside walk - filled with bluebells. Comfy beds - one king size and twin beds. Fresh white cotton sheets and quality mattresses. Peaceful & relaxing stay

Very lovely stay. Excellent location near fowey. Hotel and grounds superb. Woodland walk was lovely along with outdoor games and resident tortoises! All the staff were very friendly and a accommodating. It was my birthday and was wished a happy birthday by Rebecca on reception when I arrived she then thoroughly explained the restaurants bars grounds and spa. Unfortunately the spa was full but Rebecca said she would try to find us a space and later called our room to confirm we could have a session. Our room was spacious and grand with everything you would need very clean and a birthday card! In the restaurant i had balloons on my table which was such a thoughtful gesture! food was delicious I had the rump steak which I asked to swap the chips and was offered new potatoes instead not a problem, it was perfect. The spa was beautiful with a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and there was only 8 people so quiet and intimate. For breakfast there was lots of options; full english and continental I had eggs benedict and they were fabulous. I would love to visit here again!
