Lovely old manor, spacious and clean. Swimming pool was an added bonus. Very friendly staff at reception and in the dining room for breakfast. One of the breakfast staff was interesting and quite unique; a great approach to the job.

Beautiful place to stay located in some stunning countryside! The manor and grounds are perfect for a relaxing break away with lots of great places to visit locally. Lovely breakfast with heaps of choices and the eggs Benedict were absolutely, the rooms were super comfy and the staff perfect. Thank you for a perfect stay and helping to make our anniversary one to remember

Firstly the hotel is situated perfectly and it is has a beautiful view. The staff are the icing on the cake to this relaxing break of of ours. The hotel manager was always at hand and did all he could to make everyone enjoy there stay there,very hard working The reception staff,bar staff and waiting staff were really pleasant and attentive. The spa was very nice and relaxing and nice pool staff. The massage therapist was excellent in her field and made my wife and I totally relaxed after our amazing massages. Overall can't fault our 5 day break

No lift and number of flights of stairs to get to our room. Had to ask several times for help to take suitcase up to room as husband would have struggled get it up steep stairs. Limited menu for evening meals.

Excellent breakfast menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Well located for local attractions and short drive into Fowey (bus stop nearby that could take you into Fowey). Beautiful old building with stunning features.

Big, nice room, comfy bed, tasty dinner We enjoyed the surroundings, view and swimming pool and saunas. Not having lift but just stairs could be challenging for someone, but I didn't mind.It wasn't easy for my partner but again, we could book next stay in one of lodges on one level.

Didn't feel that the restaurant offer in the evening matched the beautiful setting. Misaligned flimsy a4 menu didn't feel special. Meals available not inspiring. Some waiting staff require some training

There wasn't staff on reception in the Evening when we called from rooms so we had to walk back to main hotel when we had a query

The location was stunning.the risotto for dinner was one of the best I have very had.the scrambled eggs for breakfast was absolutely delicious .just regretted not asking for second helping

The lodge was so spacious, one bedroom had an ensuite which we weren't expecting too. Well kept gardens and a lovely outdoor area too.
