Amazing. Lasted us all day

The food wasn't that impressive. They could add local catch of the day fish specials, which we experienced at Carylon Bay and Rick Stein's properties. Even though they had spa, the booking process was cumbersome.

The property was excellent. The personnel were quite polite and helpful. I was impressed with a receptionist (one Rebecca, I suppose) who was really patient and explained everything to all guests.

The buffet breakfast I know buffet is easier for staff, but if you're paying £17.50 for a breakfast, you want it brought freshly cooked from the kitchen.

The hotel is beautiful , Our room was amazing, so big and so comfortable 😍 and very quiet the pool was ok, not massive but enough seam room sauna jacuzzi

We choose half board, Breakfast was classic you can choose something from the kitchen (English brkfst, vegan English, pancakes, eggs with salmon, bagel with sausages etc. Tea/coffee. Juice, granola, porridge, pastry for your choice from continental table. Dinner was very nice, I recommended fish, very lovely. In the room you have everything what you need. Area around hotel was very nice, even with rain, i think is special atmosphere. You can walk to the beach up to 30-40 min and do some hiking there, but you need special shoes, not trainers (if you have rain, if it will be in the summer so it shouldn't be a problem) for 2 night stay its perfect

The food in the bar restaurant was poor quality and unfortunately the rooms were really hot we turned heating off and opened windows but unfortunately the entire hotel was too hot to be comfortable and other guests agreed.

The location was beautiful and the hotel itself was clean and classy decor. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We stayed in room 201 and it was worth a lot more than what we paid it was really lovely. The breakfast was great value

We were very disappointed with the restaurant. We were expecting an amazing a la carte menu but because it was a Sunday night and Sunday lunch had been served there was only a limited light menu of burgers, fish and chips etc.

Would be amazing if the chalets have their own hot tub... the shared spa facilities were at top level but didn't get to use jacuzzi as other people alway jumped in...

It's an amazing place to stay!!! Nice staff and beautiful area...Will definitely come back again!!!

Rooms not like as advertised, the room allocated to us was not good as it was at the top of hotel with a small window with no view just a concrete wall in front of it , I went down & complained so we were moved to a better one .

You can’t set up a room tab and charge bar drinks to your room. The man at the bar was rude which left a distaste on the stay.

The service in the restaurant on our second night (my birthday) was very poor, the food was not particularly hot and we waited 10 - 15 minutes for extra vegetables we ordered to come which spoiled our evening somewhat.

The breakfast was really good as was the spa and swimming pool except for having to go outside the building to get to it. The room was very nice lovely shower room and a great TV and flexible lighting.

The room TV could have been a little bigger! Bath was a bit small too so could be a consideration if any updates are done to bathrooms in future.

We enjoyed our stay a great deal. The hotel decor for Christmas was lovely! Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. While we felt it was a little expensive, you definitely got what you paid for, couldn't fault it. Staff were super friendly courteous, and very helpful the whole week we were there.

The only downside was the property heating was off on our arrival and took 4/5 hours to heat up to a good temperature.

The booking system for the leisure facilities and its a real shame that you have to go out of the main building to get to the spa especially given the icy temperatures this week. It was great once in though.

All the staff were really friendly and the whole ambience was warm and inviting. The garden room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Great sunsets enjoyed over st austell bay. The breakfasts were really good. Any issues we had, a double bed instead of twin beds, a problem with a blind were dealt with efficiently and without drama. The leisure facilities were again spotlessly clean and very pleasurable. The facial I had was really relaxing. A special thank you to the cleaner who having found the back of an earring in the shower searched the rest of the room and found the other bit and returned it to me after I had booked out. We really enjoyed our break and came away feeling very relaxed. Thank you.
