Wow, what a charming, beautiful place to stay. Lindsay was very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our cooked breakfast. Exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the roll top bath. Great location in the town with plenty of places to eat. A lovely place with lots of character. Would love to return.

The bed was rather hard for us. And we missed not having cereal and orange juice, before our cooked breakfast. A serviette/napkin would be nice. And a shame we had to walk across the landing to get to our private bathroom. All very insignificant, as we would return.

Lindsey was very friendly and welcoming host. He is very knowledgeable, and likes a good chat. He's cooked breakfast was very tasty and nicely laid out. The bathroom was divine, with its roll topped bath. Just right for relaxing in. The bedroom had all you needed in it. Even sofa and dining room table. I actually quite liked having breakfast in the privacy of my room.

The free parking was a short walk down the street which wasn't detailed when booking, I think this is an important detail that should be noted for disabled guests. The window in our bedroom was broken an unable to close and lock which would have been an issue if we were staying more than one night as the room didn't feel secure to leave valuables in unattended.

The owner was lovely, showed us to our room and took our breakfast order for the next morning. They even offered suggestions of where to go in town for the evening. The room was spacious and had all the facilities we would expect, even books in the room and in the hallways with communal seating. Breakfast was very generous and customisable to your tastes.

As travelling with family, unfortunately we couldn’t all eat breakfast together as the dining room was under renovation. A minor inconvenience but not an issue.

Rooms were clean, bright, and very comfortable. Plenty of space with very good size and equipped en-suite. Lindsey was a generous and affable host. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect, the owner was very nice, he was happy to answer all of our kids' questions (and they had a lot). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was amazing, close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely go back if we plan to travel south.

The small bed in our room was really creaky so my son had to sleep on the couch as he is a restless sleeper. There was no hot water for a bath which my son wanted but the shower was great.

The host is extremely accommodating, the rooms are lovely and spacious. We had a separate private bathroom which was lovely and big. It's our second time here and we would definitely recommend.
