The manager volunteered to come to the train station at night and give us a ride into town - which was a tremendous help because the station stop was outdoors and dark. I didn't see any taxis around. He was super nice throughout our stay.

It was a little chilly first but later Dato boosted the heating and it got nice and toasty.

Very convenient and cozy place. Dato, the host, was super helpful to explain where I could find everything I was planning to find and how ho navigate the city overall. Nice and good-looking living room, comfortable bunk bed with a curtain for privacy. I've also met great people during my stay there. There is a music school right next door and when they play music there, it gets super atmospheric in Bao. I highly recommend this place!

A friendly decorated guesthouse which makes you feel like home. One of those special places which justifies my opinion: "amazing" for almost no money. Of course this guesthouse attracts amazingly friendly people living a family like life there. The best guesthouse I found in all Armenia and Georgia. I'll definitely will try to return just for the atmosphere there.

Stayed just for one night on my way from Svaneti back to Tbilisi but would have loved to stay longer! Everyone I met that evening was talking about how this is the best hostel they've ever stayed at and I would agree: airconditioned rooms, cozy common areas, friendly people, great location and three little kittens! If you're staying in Kutaisi, this is a great place to meet other travelers. Dato is also a very dedicated host and always ready to help or answer questions.

This was one of my best accommodation experiences. The hostel was giving me strong home vibes, it was really large, with lots of common spaces: two terraces and one big livingroom so it´s ideal for meeting other travelers and building a community. The owner is really kind and willing to help plus he has a cat with three cute little kittens. I can´t wait to come back one day!

Awesome hostel in great location. Staff is very friendly and Dato was super helpful. We stayed in the double room and the bed was the most comfortable we had in all of Georgia. Everything was very clean. There is a lovely balcony and a nice kitchen to hang out.

Upper beds could have some light protection, same as the low ones. Otherwise all good.

Dato is a great host. I felt so comfortable and relaxed as if I was at home, which is to important and rare for me, when I travel. Dato explained a lot about the history and the area to me and he was very helpful and friendly. The beds were nice and the kitchen well equipped!

A hostel in the best sense: Nice facilities, good vibes, amazing host, central location. Kitchen is perfect if you wanna cook. Bathroom / shower clean and spacious. Balconies to chill outside and a knowledgeable host Dato who can help out with whatever one might need. Would def stay again

The accommodation was more expensive than the alternatives we were choosing in other cities of Georgia. Nevertheless, it was a good value for money, and the location was right in the centre, so we found it easy travelling around.

The host of the accommodation was the most friendly and helpful - he was open to any questions, always could recommend something in the city. The hostel is really cosy, prefect for young people travelling as it provides suitable conditions for staying. We really enjoyed the atmosphere there.

nothing. One of the best hostels I've lived in.

Everything was fine. A friendly host who keeps the hostel clean and tidy. Toilets and showers are clean. The kitchen is also clean. Air conditioning in the room. There are a lot of people from different countries in the hostel. The hostel is located almost in the very center of the city. No one makes any noise at night and you can get a good night's sleep.
