Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RussiaSometimes there's no mosquitoes, sometimes there's plenty. Wifi crashes couple times a day. No biggie.
Good location in the center, next to the big Carrefour and half a mile from the seafront. It's an apartment hostel, so don't get out off by the shabbiness of the building. General vibe is polite and quiet, although at times people in the common room can be loud, and 8ppl dorm is right next to it. Opt for 5ppl room on the second floor by all means. It has the balcony too. The kitchen is tremendous, can't complain at all. Common room has fans (vital in the summer) and AC is sometimes run in the room. Pricetag is on the friendly side.

TurkeyIf you like to sleep in bigger beds I’d recommend you to choose accordingly. Beds in Dormitory Room are ratherly small. Plus you might need your slippers with you.
It’s a very welcoming and warm place. Lovely members and cozy rooms. All types of rooms are available and affordable. Especially you won’t need something extra to bring here, there’s almost everything you’re looking for. Big kitchen, two bathrooms and nice terrace with city view. Kitchen is huge and that makes it joyful to spend some time there. It’s on the top floor so you can have both rooftop vibes and also city vibes together. I think it’s one of the best place not only for short-term stayers but also for people who are planning to stay for longer-terms. The owner and the manager helps a lot. They are the sweetest! Always being there for you whenever you need! Thanks and greetings for the whole team!!!! PS: I would like to give higher rates but app limits it🤩

TurkeyI stayed in the "tent" it's a very comfortable couch that lies flat. It's in the main area - everyone was respectful during my stay. The common areas are kept very clean as well as the bathroom. $1 for lanudry is a bonus!

United KingdomI would highly recommend that you book a hostel in the old town if you are a looking for a social and pleasant experience in Batumi. Although centrally located and close to a big supermarket, the location is in a busy, hot, quite dirty and congested area and we honestly didn’t feel like venturing outside of the hostel during our stay. The hostel owner seemed stressed during the entire time of our stay, making us feel uncomfortable when we would use the social areas or used their laundry facilities. We were not too pleased to find out that the basic amenity of toilet paper costs 1Gel per sheet! Never in my life have I been charged for toilet paper in a place I’ve spent the night. Not only that, but the kitchen sign exclaiming that we would be “punished” and “charged” for not clearing up after ourselves was rather distressing. I understand if the owner had experienced some lazy guests in the past, but I think most travelers know that it’s an unspoken rule to wash their dishes. At least make the sign more kind. There were also people using the common area as a place to sleep despite there being spare rooms in the dormitory. I think the owner should let these people use a spare bed if there is one , even if it is to save money.
It was lovely to finally sleep in a room with working air con - a rarity when you’re backpacking Georgia on a budget.

BelarusThis apartment was booked for my friend who has never traveled before. But it was a nice trip in many ways, and for sure due to the place he stayed as well, it is not a fashionable hotel, but price/quality ratio is great, the community was awesome, there was everything you need, special thanks to Sean for his hospitality and making stay wonderful.
