Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GeorgiaI love this place! Been here twice this summer. There is no other place like it. My family loved it. My dog wanted to stay here forever. Very quiet, atmospheric place. It's like being in your own chateau. Everything is quiet and peaceful. The staff is friendly, the breakfast was phenomenal every time with a variety of homemade diary and bread. I wish them prosperity!

ItalyI give a 9 out of 10 in comparison with the average offer of hotels in the region.
This is more than a guest house is a sort of museum and a part itself of the history of georgian Wine. If you want a new and modern place this is not the place for you.... if you want to visit a of a retro style residence with an annexed winery this is the right place. Staff is super friendly and will tell you about the story of their wines, of the winery and the family that manage the entire estate. It worth at stay in Chateau Eniseli. ps: breakfast is super huge!

AustraliaIf you were travelling with small children, this venue would work well, but you would need to self cater an early breakfast (before 0900). The bathroom was quite basic.
The quality of the meals available was superb - delicious local dishes with local produce. In house wines were available for tasting and for sale - great quality wines. A takeaway breakfast was prepared for us on the day that we had to leave early, otherwise breakfast was available from 09:00. Our hostess gave a guided tour of the vinyard and wine production areas - very interesting and not industrial scale.

RussiaWe spent four wonderful days at this beautiful chateau, and it was truly a memorable experience. The place has a rich history, which is carefully preserved in an exhibition. I highly recommend looking at the photo album of Nino Jorjadze, taken during World War I, and reading about her remarkable family. The house and winery buildings are lovely, surrounded by greenery, and give off the feeling of an aristocratic past. The host was very welcoming and attentive, and the homemade food was delicious, prepared by local women who likely live in the nearby village. Their cooking added authentic local flavors and that made our stay even more warm. We will definitely return!

NetherlandsThe hotel itself is very nice and good value for money. It is in a quiet area, has lovely grounds and is seeped in history. Our hostess was incredibly sweet and helpful in giving us tips for the area catered to our wishes. You can also have dinner and breakfast which are both delicious. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here as well! Bonus point: Amy the German Shepard

GeorgiaThe bathroom facilities: very poor flush. Not about the property, but worth to mention: As we travelled with our dog, he caught lots of ticks: Kakheti is very green with grass and trees so it’s better to leave your doggos with nanny or put a quadruple prevention.
The property was marvelous, the food was very good, the chief who was managing the property when the manager was at the absence along our stay was very nice and helpful, moreover the host was in touch on WhatsApp and replied very fast if we had any questions. The beds were very comfortable! The golden hour&sunsets were truly amazing. The area is pretty big and it has a very remarkable history, the winery tour was also amazing. Thank you very much for your hospitality and our longtime emotions. That place gave us warm moments - that is priceless!

Fantastic place if you want to enjoy nature and silence. Thank you Misho for the warm welcome with best Georgian brandy and possibility to touch history in one of the oldest wineries in Georgia. A beautiful place in the Alazani Valley near the mountainous region. The hotel is surrounded by historical sites, attractions and wineries. Breathtaking views of the mountains.

GeorgiaMore/brighter lights within the room would have been nicer.
Cosy hotel with old charm. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Make sure to check out the 19th century wine cellar complete with historic treasures. The estate belongs to Jorjadze family. Nino Jorojadze was Georgia's first woman photographer and the first woman wartime photographer from WWI.

The Eniseli Chateau is one of the oldest wine places in the country and it has an amazing history, which the welcoming guy told us while visiting the cellar and the premises. It is really a great place to stay, the dinner we had was great (traditional Georgian cuisine) and we had the luck of being invited to the table of the owner too afterwards who offered us the house wines and showed us the legendary Georgian hospitality and friendliness. The room, bathroom, breakfast etc. were all great, it's really a nice place to stay for a couple of nights or more while visiting the Kakheti area. Also chilling on the hammocks in the front garden was great. Lovely place, totally recommended!

United KingdomIn summer it’s very hot and a swimming pool would have been nice, though I realise that’s a major investment.
We were looked after extremely well and our meals were cooked to order and delicious. The location is very quiet and ideal for exploring Telavi and the wineries. We enjoyed the hammocks in the garden and the bedrooms were comfortable too with air con and good WiFi.

AustraliaIt was really amazing to stay in Chateau Eniseli, which happens to be one of the oldest wine cellars in Kakheti. The Chateau itself is very nice with beautiful garden and delicious food and wine (by all means). It is also perfectly located, close to almost evey attractions in the region. The staff was also amazing. 👌 We enjoyed it very much and would definitely go back.

RussiaCharming family winery with a nicely kept territory and a sweet little hotel. It also has a winery museum and a beautiful house dated back to year 1875, which the owners showed us as part of the experience. Our room was spacious and very clean, the decor was minimalistic and simple, just the way we prefer it. The hotel has a lovely garden and we really enjoyed drinking wine there in the evenings. We tried Mtsvane, and it was amazing, great quality and taste. Our breakfasts and dinners were home-cooked and very good. Staff and owners are super welcoming, friendly and helpful, and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Also it's easy to get to many attractions from here - the Gremi's Archangels' Complex is just a walk away, as well as Sadjari Waterfall. And it takes a short drive to Nekresi monastery and Ilia Chavchavadze House-Museum. We had a great time and hope to come back soon!

United Arab Emiratesthey had no arrangements for local tours or transportation. I ended up having to go to the wine country without managing a single wine tour which was profoundly disappointing. I was the only guest and so I had to go by the staff schedule as opposed to vice versa. Credit machine stoped working so ever had to be paid via cash. Overall it was a let down after so many good hotels in
the rooms were comfortable and the food was excellent
