It would be nice if there would be bathtoom carpet in shower, because there is shower without curtains and if you use shower everything around is wet !

One small challenge is that the room didn't have a wardrobe, so we kept our stuff in the backpacks, but since it is a location for outdoorsy people, this is a minor issue.

Absolutely lovely guesthouse in a beautiful environment. The hostess is nice, helpful and an amazing cook. The house itself has a great ambience, the view, especially from the tower room is amazing. Keeping in mind that this is a tiny mountain village, we have found what we were looking for.

Careful going up those stairs!

Staying in a Svaneti tower as part of this guesthouse was a highlight. The family was super friendly, and went to enormous effort to make sure we were comfortable, the home cooking was great. The terrace restaurant has extraordinary views back over the mounts and Ushguli.

Please note that most places in Ushguli are rather guest houses than hotels, please don't overestimate accommodations there.

It was a great place to stay for 2 nights in Ushguli village. Friendly and helpful host, comfortable room, private bathroom with hot shower. The view from the cafe where they serve breakfast (10 meters from the hotel) is maybe the best view of Ushguli!

No bedside lamps! Access to the place might be difficult if You don't have a 4x4 (it's steep and made of loose pebbles). Otherwise massive thumbs up!

Amazing spot, right by the main tourist attraction. The host was super hospitable and very kind - she also spoke excellent English. The rooms were warm and cozy. Plenty of parking spaces available. Also, breakfast was excellent and very hearty!

The bed was squeaking when I was turning on the bed during night. Also the door in our room was super noisy, when going to the bathroom in the night I was afraid I'm going to wake up everyone. And the toilet cover was broken.

The biggest thing was the beds. You could feel the mattress springs on the single beds in our room while our double bed sagged in the middle, leaving my partner with a sore back. The bathroom seems to be undergoing an upgrade but for now the door doesn’t close properly and you have to stand on unstable wood beams to reach the toilet. The staircase up to the second floor felt unsafe.

The guesthouse is in an excellent location with the best views of the glacier from the adjacent cafe. The daughter speaks excellent English and was super helpful, arranging dinner for us, a taxi back to Mestia the next day, and letting us use the washing machine to wash our dirty hiking clothes. The rooms were quiet with plenty of ventilation and we had a lovely view over the old part of the town from our window.

Guesthouse is located Xhazhashi, the most medieval district of Ushguli right next to Queen Tamar's tower which offers very nice views of Ushguli. The host is outstandingly nice
