Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaThis was a great place to stay at Mtshketa. The house is simply lively and recently made with a very cute kitchen. The hosts family is wonderful and warm. The washer in the kitchen was really helpful and they provided with the detergent! I would book this blindly as it is a perfect spot to stay.

GeorgiaI had a wonderful stay at Davit Batoni Guest House in Mtskheta with my partner. The hospitality was exceptional—the hosts were warm, welcoming, and made sure we felt at home throughout our stay. The guest house itself is charming, clean, and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. The location is perfect for exploring Mtskheta, with stunning views and easy access to historical sites. I highly recommend Davit Batoni Guest House to anyone looking for a comfortable and authentic stay in Mtskheta. We would definitely return!

Excellent place to stay with a nice balcony. We booked about 20 minutes before arriving and the host handled everything perfectly. Located in the Old Town area (UNESCO site). It is great for a couple of nights while you explore the area. Our room was on the 3rd floor, one flight with a spiral staircase between the 2nd and 3rd floors. Excellent host, and very friendly

AustraliaThe spiral staircase to the 3rd floor wasn't easy to get our bags up. Do not bring suitcases. There's no shower curtain so the shower drowns the bathroom.
A very nice, comfortable guesthouse room (one of three) on the 3rd floor of an old traditional family house near the river. Our room faced out on to the balcony with 2 tables and great view of the river and Jvari Monastery. We didn't find this an issue but I must admit we enjoyed our second night more when we had the place to ourselves. The shared kitchen was great for self catering. Nice hostess who was there when we needed her. We had no problems finding a parking spot along the wall in Arsukidze Street. All the sights, shops and restaurants are a short stroll away down the main street.

EstoniaDon’t forget to bring cash! If anything there’s one currency exchange in 10 minutes away
It’s easy to arrive even late in the night, owner is very welcoming! Only thing that Google Maps don’t show the place correctly but you won’t get lost - just follow the houses numbers. The view on Mtskheta is very pleasant! Also loved the equipped kitchen and the opportunity to use the washing machine :)

GermanyThe house is located in a beautiful environment. From the balcony you have a view over a lake and nice old houses. One minute walking and you're in the city centre. The room as well as the bathroom are very clean. You can also use the kitchen, which has all needed utensils. The family is really welcoming and caring. Feels like a second home.

SpainIt was a bit difficult to find - location on Booking is not precise and there are no signs to show the direction, so you will have to ask around. The door from our room was difficult to open (but that has an easy fix I guess).
The view from the balcony is great. The hosts were nice and helpful (even gave us their own pasta when we could not find ours :-))

Czech RepublicIt was a bit difficult to find as we did not see any signs. The other guests cooked fish for dinner and ate late on the terrace right outside our room, and the smell was not nice as I am highly allergic, nor was the late hour chatting. Quiet hours could be suggested to other guests.
Good location just off the main square. Nice, clean room with shared balcony. Shared kitchen as well. The hosts recommended a good restaurant for dinner. Parking was not on site, but they had a map of where to leave the car.
