Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GeorgiaNo complains, everything was excellent.
Wonderful host family! Very attentive and hospitable. Great location. Very close to the railway and bus station and also in a walking distance from the Dadiani Palace. One of the best guesthouse experiences in Georgia. Very clean and comfortable room, with every possible detail you may need during your stay.

GreeceIt’s a residential quiet neighborhood just out of the center, but it’s ok if you have a car!
You stay at a clean house room, the owners live on the ground floor so you get the feeling of being hosted by a local family, which you also support.

AustraliaNothing.
Host was very kind and accomodating, let us do some laundry at no cost and let us dry it in her yard even after check out to dry completely. Kept car on their property after checkout for a few hours also. Using google translate to converse was not a problem for her. Room had ensuite with shower curtain to ensure you don't get water everywhere! Thank you so much. Also got the car washed right near the accomodation on the main road almost opposite the road leading to the train station for 20 lari.

United KingdomThis is a traditional Georgian homestay, with three rooms that are let out with private access at the back of the property. It's very close to the railway station and a 15 minute walk into town. The room has all the facilities you will need including use of a shared fridge. The hospitality from the owner is what makes this accomodation stand out.... truly superb. The lady was so charming, offering us some of her home made honey and a drink. Although she has no English her daughter has some basic knowledge. By using Google translate we spent a very pleasant hour talking. She even arranged a car and driver to take us onwards to Mestia at a good price. The driver was very good and safe. She was one if the nicest hosts we have ever came across. Two nights in Zugdidi gives you a chance to see what the town has to offer.

SpainAnything.
Beatiful and quiet house in a residential area, close to railway station (4 minutes walking) and about 10 minutes to Zugdidi market and 15 minutes to city center by walking. The room was ample, with water boiler, coffee and tea was provided by the host, a fridge was available outside the room, in the hallway, nice AC, a comfy double bed and a nice bathroom. The room was spotless clean, I think was the cleanest or so room I've been in Georgia. Host was really nice. She doesn't speak English but her daughter and husband does. She allowed me to check in early in the day with no problem at all which was really nice. You can park the car on the street. I was also offered a spot inside, by the garden. The garden, by the way, is beautiful. I had a really nice time there. It is a 10!!!

United StatesThe hallways are very hot (we visited in the summer). However, you spend little to no time in the always so this does not matter at all.
The property was conveniently located. We came here because we heard great things about Folk house and the property is just 15 minutes away from there! There is a cute dog named Aki there who just loved to greet us whenever we came on to the property. He necker jumped on us. He just ran up to us and sniffed us. The host are also really kind. They checked in on us and always greeted us.

United StatesI could feel some springs in the mattress. The pillows were very hard. A jog from the sites of the town. Water pressure was on the lower side and it was difficult to finesse the water temperature.
