Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineThe property is clean, comfortable and has authentic atmosphere. Its location is not far from the center of Signakhi town. Gela, the guest house owner is kind and hospitable person. He told us a lot about Kahetia and life of the local people. His wife cooked for us very tasty Georgian breakfast. Also he makes good home made wine.

RussiaI liked absolutely everything about the guest house. We lived in a 3-bed room with a balcony. The room is large, cozy and clean with a magnificent view of the mountains. The guesthouse is located in a quiet location, a 5-minute walk from the city center. I really liked the breakfasts. I highly recommend ordering dinner. It consists of delicious dishes of Georgian cuisine and wine, which the owner produces himself from natural grapes without chemical additives. The owner is very sociable and always ready to help. He can arrange a tour to the winery. This is a dog-friendly guesthouse. We lived with a big dog.

MalaysiaNothing. We had a pleasant stay in Babaka Guest House.
The guest house is run by a friendly and humble couple, Gela and Silvia. We like the place very much because it is a very homey and cozy place to stay. Our room is spacious, there is kitchen next to our room where we enjoyed local Georgian dinner and breakfast prepared by the couple and also did our laundry. The most impressive is the beautiful country courtyard that brings us a peaceful and relaxing vibes during our stay with Babaka. We strongly recommend Babaka to you when you are in Sighnaghi. Please take note that the guesthouse is located a bit down from the hilltop where you have to walk up around 15 minutes to reach the Sighnaghi Wall at hill top.

United Arab EmiratesThe hosts Gela and Silvia were incredible. They were genuinely caring for their guests and provided a truly authentic stay and a glimpse into Georgian hospitality. Silvia’s cooking skills are second to none and shouldn’t be missed. She makes the BEST Kinkhali and most of her dishes have ingredients from their own garden. Delicious!!

GermanyEverything great. It was just a little hard to find, since there was no sign outside. It’s the new looking wooden door beside the stone brick wall. ;)
Gela welcomed us with a Glas of his homemade wine. The next day he took us on a tour through some wineries, the nearby monastery and a wine themed museum. Great day! The barbecue and salads at night were also delicious and accompanied by more of Gela’s homemade wine and chacha.

GeorgiaOne thing to note is there was no signage where we entered. I'm not sure if there was signage elsewhere - I know there was another space we didn't see. Fortunately our driver knew where we were going and which house. It is correctly marked on Google maps though.
The couple running Guest House Babaka are lovely people. They were warm and made us feel welcome. Although we didn't have any languages in common, it was nothing that couldn't be solved with the help of Google Translate. After reading reviews about the food, we did ask for dinner. Dinner was an incredible spread of food with delicious homemade wine. All the food was delicious. The terrace was a comfortable place to hang out and there were two adorable dogs who liked to come by. The location was great. It's about a 5 minute walk to the center, which we knew. It's uphill going to town, but totally doable if you enjoy walking. Super quiet. We slept great. There really wasn't anything we didn't like. It was exactly what I was looking for, which was a simple homestay rather than a hotel. To that end, it feels like you're staying in an extension of someone's home, although the space we stayed in is very much separate from the house and pretty private. It's perfect if you're going in with those expectations, which we were. :)
