Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelEverything was flawless
The stay was incredible, starting with Lali's welcoming smile, continuing with very cofotable beds, a hot shower, an amazing view from the garden and finishing with the tastiest food we had in Georgia, Lali's hands are absolut magic.

GeorgiaThe guesthouse itself of standard quality, with basic facilities but provides all you need. Clean and comfy.
Beautiful spot close to the river, with a nice garden and apple trees overlooking the valley and mountains. Friendly dog Balu loves to cuddle. The lady of the house was very welcoming and helpful. The food was hearty and tasty. She dried our shoes after we left them out in the rain accidentally. Lali is a great cook and we very much enjoyed her cheeky jokes (in Russian).

IsraelThe picture of the property is misleading. When we booked we thought we booked the cottage in the picture. Arriving there we realized we booked 2 rooms inside the family house with shared bathroom which wasn’t our preference. Luckily, the cottage was free (and more expensive which is understandable) so we got it. The meals were rather expensive. and we were charged for tea and coffee too, which I think should be part of the hospitality.
The cottage is very nice, new, clean, still missing some basic stuff but I’m sure it will be soon. The food Lali made for us was delicious, both dinner and breakfast however quite The location is a bit further from the ending/starting point of the Mestia-Ushguli trail, but the views are stunning.

PortugalEverything was perfect.
Lali and her family made us feel at home - I fell asleep on the hammock outside and woke up covered in a nice blanket. I'll never forget your kindness Lali! Great great food. Friendly animals, we got to play with the puppy. Close to a nearby idilic bridge where you could watch the river with its fu force.

SpainToo short stay!
Lali is an amazing host. She's a very enthusiastic woman and does everything to make you feel at home. Her energy, sense of humor and care for the guests makes her the soul of the place. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. She provided a FANTASTIC dinner (glass of wine and chacha included) and a phenomenal breakfast. She caters vegetarians easily. The room was really spacious and comfortable, all very clean. Also the bathroom has a great shower with good pressure and hot water. The dogs are lovely and the rest of their farm animals (sheep, goats, cows) are always around to make you enjoy their garden even more. Views are mindblowing, super relaxed atmosphere tucked at the end of the valley. I would totally recommend Lali's guesthouse, it really makes a memorable experience. Madloba dear Lali!

AustriaBe aware that the price on booking accounts only for room and breakfast (in our case it was really cheap: 50 GEL for two), the dinner did cost us an additional 90 GEL. So in total it wasn't that cheap anymore. We would recommend asking for the dinner price beforehand because this is the case in many guesthouses in this area.
We enjoyed our stay with this very friendly family, it was comfortable and the food was amazing !

United StatesAll was really good!
Wonderful home stay with a very friendly and generous hostess. She met us when we walked up after a long day of hiking and made us a lovely cup of tea and gave us some fruit. Dinner was really good and when she realized she had forgotten I had told her I was gluten free, she made a special plate of excellent corn and cheese cakes just for me. Breakfast in the morning was also really good and very filling. The guesthouse is very well marked and there are signs directing you straight to it. Very welcome after a long hike!
