A very accommodating owner, who goes above and beyond to meet the guests' needs/requests (i.e. late arrival, breakfast etc). We absolutely loved the comfy beds, the bedsheets were lovely too, and in addition, the cosy temperature kept in the room at all times was a big bonus as there was pretty cool outside. Really happy with our stay at Guram Baba.

The oven didn't work (although the host did offer for us to use the one in their house, next door) and the beds weren't particularly comfy.

What a lovely guesthouse hosted by lovely people! We were welcomed upon our arrival with some fresh homemade Georgian bread. The location was perfect (~10 minute walk into town/the 24hr grocery stores along the roads, ~5 minutes on the trails behind the guesthouse), the views out our windows were stunning and there was no traffic noise. Although it was very cold outside, our room heated up nicely and the shower was very nice/hot (and the towel heater was amazing).

Very close to the center. Very nice kitchen and washing machine was available. The owners were very nice and gave us free fruit from their garden. They also let us keep our car there for a couple of nights that we were away. They have taxi service as well that drove us to the start of our trek

The price is quite good. And the host’s family were so friendly! They provided us milk which was just milked by them. They provided us a driver who can sent us to the halfway of the mountain and gave us a lower price.After hiking, my boots got broken, they asked me if I need repair. The location may not be the best, 4 minutes’ walk to the center, but the river runs by it and the mountains surrounding made it one of the most beautiful place there.

Gurum Baba is perfectly located in Mestia, especially once the shortcut into town is pointed out to you. Our host, Tea, was so helpful, and often brought her nephew along as the interpreter.

Great guesthouse at a very very good price. We spent only one night, but it was really comfortable. Nice beds and bathroom, and also a nice shared kitchen. At 5 minutes on foot from the main square.

It should have been a mattress topper since we felt the mattress springs when we slept. Weak signal of Wi-Fi modem.

If you want to stay cozy and quiet place in Mestia you should visit them. Our holpitality began with to glass homemade "saperavi" wine and we had the opportunity to taste svanetian adjika too. Room was super clean and staff very kind for us.

Perfect stay in Mestia! The guesthouse owns a nice garden with a river just nearby, from where we took a shortcut and started our trail to Hatsvali directly. The owner can speak fluent English and give us a lot of useful advice. Me and my family had a wonderful stay here and will definitely come back if we got chances

We stayed 3 nights with our family in two rooms with a bathroom. Very good location 5 mins from city center while on on the main road, there is a bakery around the corner and street food available. Very hospitable host Tea took care of us like a family, arranged all our travel and transfer and saved us quite some money versus purchasing this from taxi drivers. All the apartment house is rather new and all rooms have access to a well equipped kitched and a washing machine. There is heating in rooms, nice bathroom with hot water, quick wifi.

We arrived soaked to the bone and we could immediately get into the room and got offered a heater. There is a washing machine so we could wash our clothing. It also has a common kitchen that you can use with fridge. Room is nice and clean, there is a nice atmosphere.

Just to mention: It's one balcony for all rooms. In the german description it might sound as if the rooms have private balconies.
