We had a wonderful stay at Sagrila guest house. The owners are lovely, very kind and helpful. And on the top of that, the food they cook is really amazing and mostly with homegrown veggies and herbs. A delight!

Fantastic hospitality, big room, big garden with home produced vegetables and herbs, breakfast and dinner was very good, dinner served with home made wine. Athmosphere is very cozy and you feel at home. Everything was clean. We stayed two nights, WiFi was ok. Good value for money.

What a fantastic experience! The host family met me at the gate and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I really appreciated that they spent their evening answering my many questions about Omalo and the area. My host noticed me admiring his garden early in the morning and took the time to give me a tour of his large garden. The bountiful meals were eaten on the covered veranda with the other guests. The room was clean and a bit austere, but fit in perfectly as part of the Omalo experience. The bed was comfortable and came with a thick comforter that kept the cold at bay all night. I would stay here again.

Wonderful, kind hosts who welcomed us into their home in the pouring rain and made sure we soon warmed up and had dry clothes. Maya and Anna’s cooking and the family wine were absolutely delicious and we very much enjoyed the conversation on historical leaders and current affairs with Zuri. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and son Giorgi was really helpful in arranging transport back to Telavi for us. We can strongly recommend a stay with this lovely family.

I had to move to this hotel cuz the one i booked before was fully booked, but it was beyond my expectations!!! Though my hosts( a very lovely elderly couple) can barely speak English but they treated me like their family, the lunch and dinner were all such big portions that I had to take the rest for my second day back to Tbilisi. And the house is very well decorated and quite nostalgic, the atmosphere is great great great!!!

Sagrila guest house is a choice place to stay in Omalo - the host family are very friendly and helpful, and although they don't speak a lot of English, their son Giorgi helped me a lot over the phone to organise and translate, and he also helped me find a driver to and from Tusheti. I definitely recommend eating here too - the food was delicious and plentiful, and they have many lovely animals!

The family are so welcoming. They immediately offered us an upgraded room as it was vacant which was very kind of them. We had an ensuite room in a separate building in the garden. It had a nice table you could sit out on the veranda. It's so peaceful there. We ate dinner and breakfast, both were excellent. We were even given wine with dinner.

Sagrila is a lovely welcoming guesthouse located in lower Omalo. We booked 2 rooms as we were 4 guests and the rooms were as described and shown in photo's, beds were comfortable and towels were provided. The family are very welcoming, We ate breakfasts and dinners cooked in house and all were varied and tasty. Hot water and electricity are from solar in Omalo however there was more than enough for hot showers and keeping phones charged. As the guesthouse is in lower Omalo it is very quiet and makes for a great location to look at stars in the evening also. We will stay again. Dzalian didi madloba.

The host family is amazing and made us feel like home. It was such a pleasure to come to Zura’s guesthouse after a long day of hiking and be welcomed with smiles and amazing dinner. Our room was clean and nice, bathroom had hot water, and we were also provided with clean towels. We really enjoyed our 4day stay at Guesthouse Sagrila and will definitely come again!

There is nothing to complain. Here was water shortage when we returned from our two days hike, which was unconvinient as we could not take shower. But it was fixed during an hour. Tbilisi visitors please read this one reccommendation, as for some strange reason I could not write review directly: if you plan visit Tbilisi avoid "Guest House Old Tbilisi". It was total fraud. They offer rooms they never had or have long time rented and just put you in any available room, for example without private bathroom. Plus there is no parking, with bigger 4x4 car you can spend more than hour searching for free route to guesthouse finally finding it without parking.

Perfect base for exploring Tusheti. We spend here two nights, one before hiking to Dartlo, Kvavlo and sleeping in Chesho and one after returning back (over scenic path through Mt Pitsilamta and Mt. Sakkhevi). But sureli you can be here for a week and you will enjoy. There are just 3 rooms each with private bathroom and all are in separate building. This gives you lot of privacy. Location is very quiet, no dogs, cows or rooster voices during night. Rooms are solar power with battery operated, means independency of village power shortage. Hot water available in shower and sink. Both breakfast and dinners were huge, delicious and different variety each day. Free local wine each evening, water melon for breakfast...pancakes:) Drinking water available. Owner son available over booking messages speaks good English, owner speaks Russian.

It's good to know that you can't charge your laptop here or use hairdryers etc. I understand why, but I would have liked to know that in advance, as I work on the road and brought my laptop.

Very friendly family who welcomed us with warm hospitality. The communication prior and during our arrival was excellent, as their son who speaks English was always available via Whatsapp for anything we might need. All family members are incredible helpful and kind. We were treated on tea, coffee and snacks. Comfy rooms with a pleasant porch, very serene to sit there with a nice view. Private shower as booked would have been nice, but not a big problem to use the shared one. Everything was very clean. We were allowed to use the kitchen, which was great (I know not all guesthouses allow that free of charge in Tusheti). Keep in mind that the internet unfortunately isn't available, but Magti data works fine here though.
