Confortable enough for our one night stop on a hiking trek. Tidy room with a shower and a toilet. Two single beds. Perfect georgian cuisine and realy kind people who cook, serve the food and run all necessary services in this guesthouse. We felt welcome. The next time, we will stay 2 nights and will enjoy the horse riding or hike to the glacier. Lively...

I can't really fault this accommodation, but don't expect anything fancy (that counts for all of Ushguli though)

The guesthouse offers no-nonsense accommodation in Ushguli. The rooms are tiny but clean, with a decent bed, and private bathroom. You can hear other guests, the walls are thin since everything is made out of wood. Downstairs there is a restaurant serving local dishes at acceptable prices.

The hostess was quite unfriendly and easily annoyed.

The location was very good and the staff were nice. The rooms were clean. They allowed us to make changes to our booking free of charge. Breakfast was okay (simple, but also relatively cheap).

The communication with the staff was tough. They could only speak Russian and Georgian. I'm not sure the staff can handle the Booking.com's reservation system properly. Every noises comes through the walls. The bathroom was very basic, the shower didn't have any courtains, and verge.

It is a beautiful wooden building with a good location. The breakfast was delicious, the bread and diary products were made locally here. Car parking was very easy.

We have booked 4 rooms approx 3 weeks prior to our arrival. When we turned up, very rude woman (after ignoring us for 10 minutes) said there are no rooms for us and even after showing her the booking confirmation, she completely disregarded it and kicked us out without offering any help. We had to book a place further away on minute’s notice. Now Maspindzeli is claiming full amount as if we didn’t turn up… I haven’t experience such appalling treatment in a long while. Avoid as it’s either a scam or they don’t check their bookings.

Actually, it is not an important thing. The only suggestion I have is that they could provide shampoo and bathfoam, to be perfect. The rest was amazing. Highly recommend it.

Amazing place, with great views, the hosts are so friendly and kind and the location is very good near the center but far enough of the traffic areas, what makes it a very calm and peaceful place.

Very nice house, great location and very clean. The owners do everything to make you feel like home. The room was new, with own bathroom, which is difficult to find in Ushguli. There are also rental rooms on the right side of the main picture. These rooms are at a very low level unlike the pictures of the “clean wood covered walls”. We’v got the old type rooms which were not cleaned and in a bad condition.

Very commercially oriented to the verge of unfriendly. While we had booked a few days ago, our room was not made when we arrive at 5pm. We had to go under the rain ask for towels and for toilet paper - which was received with annoyance rather than apology by the lady in charge. Room was ok though no handle so couldn't lock it from the outside nor the inside. We could clearly hear guests from 2 rooms away... When paying, the lady tried to charge 20lari pp for breakfast, which is advertised at 15 on booking.com. Again, she was annoyed. No sense of customer service, and definitely not doing this job out of her heart. From ppl we met in Ushguli, there are much better places to stay at, for same price.

I don't really care about that but for people who do : wifi connection isn't very good.

Perfect place to stay in Ushguli. It's clean and the room is spacious, private bathroom is very clean as well. I haven't tried the food in the hotel restaurant but I checked the prices and they seemed to be pretty fair.
