Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomFor the cost of this stay, nothing.
Absolutely first rate for price charged. There is a kitchen for your use complete with fridge. A store is 5 minutes walk away with everything you need for an overnight stop. I was able to park my motorcycle in the garage under the house which was great. The bed was very comfortable and I finished up getting 9 hours sleep which is unheard of for me!

ThailandThe house was way too cold, I think it because of the small heater in a big room/house.
The service was awesome, the owner, Gulico was trying to help us even with the language barrier but it was ok, she tried to introduce us many things in town. The room was so big, we stayed only 2 of us so it's more than enough for 2 people. It was just like stay in a cousin house, with the treatment and everything in the house.

AustraliaThe offer is simply false advertising. It states room with own bathroom, what we got was a bed in a large dining room with piano and a dirty bathroom shared between all the guests of the house, plus as an extra a pointless kitchen. The kitchen itself is a joke. There's a kettle and a small table to sit at, that concluded the useful interior. The gas stove is useless because there are no utensils to even cook an egg with, the fridge isnt working and has last been cleaned when Stalin was still alive, emitting a distinct smell. I cannot understand the comments about the friendlyness of the owner. When we arrived we didn't have enough cash on us and asked if we could just wire her the price from our Georgian account. Common practice in this country. She started talking to us as if we were retarded 5 year olds: "when one goes to a guest house, one needs to pay. For this, money is needed".... And this cannot be blamed on language barrier since we do speak Russian, as does the owner. When asking if we could have a half hour rest before walking into town to pick up cash she kept insisting we went right away, and would only let us rest for a few minutes when we mentioned that the free cancellation was a real option for us if she kept treating us that way. If we hadn't been so tired from arriving after a full day walking with heavy backpacks in 35 degree heat, we'd have left. Probably should have. Nonetheless the owner took great care to ask all the guests leaving in the morning to give her a 10 point review. To sum it up, there are better options for about the same price in town.
Comfortable bed. That's about it.

ChinaThe description says private bath but it is 4 rooms sharing it although there is another one downstairs. Everything is old but it’s a good experience for the old style if you like it. The bed is a small queen size bed. There are only two sockets in the huge bedroom. No AC. I needed to use the fan. 4 burners in kitten and only one with handle so you can only use one. The whole second floor has only one trash can and it’s in the kitchen. We even didn’t know where to throw the used pads. She has the key so you have to wait when she go out she will lock you in until she come back or you come back after she is back. But most of the time she is home. She asked us to be very quiet we didn’t even dare to talk loud or play music. Shower water pressure is not very good. She is really nice and asked us to give 10 and I was hesitant what number to leave here. I guess that’s why it’s high score.
The old lady is very nice and she can use translation very well and no problem communicating. She gave us small gifts when we left. Room is huge and a piano and dining table in the bedroom.

Finland-
The owner lady sent us a welcoming message after booking, using our own language, Finnish. When we arrived she showed us the shop and came there with us. We could have stayed there for 24 hours after arrival (we had booked the room for one night). The house and the room looked gorgeous. There was a grand piano in the living room, and the hostess asked me to play it. The athmosphere was cordial. I warmly recommend this place.

GermanyThe stay was perfect. The rooms are clean in the kitchen you find everything you need. There is a big dinning hall wich we didn't use because there is a table in the kitchen as well. The host is super friendly. She was giving us cake in the morning and whenever we saw she asked if we need something. Other than that the place is in a very quiet neighborhood. If I go to Gori again I will go there.
