Hm, communication was bumpy, which was in part also to blame on my inability to speak Georgian or Russian. But the host seemed generally more interested in dealing with guests he could party with (played loud music deep into the night) than making any effort to help at all. Otherwise the place was 'OK-ish'. Could need some touching up here and there...

The place was close to the city centre and had everything one could need around one or two corners. Also the guests there seemed to be chill. The price also was a plus.

There is a drunk old lady there running the place and she watches you like a hawk. The guy, on the other hand, seemed ok but he was hardly around.

The guy in charge didn't even speak english. It is the worst decision. When asked for the room. I was shown an attic where there were many people sleeping on dirty beds. Extremely unhygienic. Nothing is clean. I was asked to pay extra as well despite the booking. This place is shady. I didn't feel safe. Beds are pathetic. Sheets are horrible.

I would not recommend solo travelling women to go here, the staff made me feel extremely unsafe. One of the men working there was really creepy, and even though both nights when I was already in my pyjamas in bed and about to go to sleep he would sit and try to talk to me even though I made it clear I was not interested. He also said it was beautiful that I looked younger than my 22 years. This coming from a 34 year old man. He made me really uneasy. Other than that the mattresses were paper thin and you could feel the wood frame underneath. The staff smoked right beneath the bedroom window, so the whole room smelled like tabaco and weed constantly. Really crap bathroom as well, and the whole hostel would need a good cleaning. The “kitchen” was tiny and dirty. Overall a really unpleasant experience.

Honestly, as a photographer I've been to many obscure places, this one mirrored a crack den. Should we start with the fact that there's mold everywhere? Paint falling off of everything including the beds (which were falling apart as well and felt like an elephant had slept on them). There's Graffiti EVERYWHERE and notes written on the wall, this doesn't have to be something bad if done right, but the wall was also in terrible, dirty shape. Plus, i don't appreciate someone writing stuff like " I ♥️ KKK I ♥️ Hitler I ♥️ Putin White power " Above the table. Upon asked, the owner just said it was a stupid guest that did it - but didn't offer to remove it or anything. I had to go there with a sharpie to remove it. Overal the place is extremely run down and has obviously seen better days. It takes 10 minutes before we have 'some' hot water and it tastes a bit funny. But that might just be me not knowing rusty Georgian water. On the outside it reminds me more of an entrance to a horror show than of a Hostel. Then again, It was the cheapest (€6) in town and I shouldn't complain I guess. Please don't go! It's better to sleep outside!

The lobby is open 24/7, as in - the door is always unlocked and of you are lucky, you can find a guest that's awake who can find the owner for you.

the durmitory room is on the second floor, there is no door, so all the noise is heard. It was not possible to go to bed early - from below they turned on the music loudly and talked loudly
