The room is quite small and the bathroom also.

The staffs there are super nice, friendly, and helpful. The food is goooooood. The view from the terrace is stunningly beautiful. There’s only this hotel up on the hill. Rocky the dog is adorable and super smart. He will come to you, if you call him and he can act like 100 acts for you to take a photo with him.

Amazing place with beautiful view of Ushba Peak! If you are looking for magical place surrounded by nature go there! Host was very carring and he took care of us - they prepared food and special izotonic for us for a trek:) Rooms are very comfortable, clean and cozy with nice balconies. for sure will come back there!

The rooms have wooden beds and bathrooms. Each room has a balcony. The hosts helped with everything. We checked in late and had no problems. It has a beautiful view and a perfect location. This is definitely a house to stay in when you go to this region. Breakfast and dinner facilities are available at very affordable prices.

The best hotel crew you could dream of! We stayed at Lamala for three nights and had the very best hotel experience during our Georgia trip. The location at the bottom of the valley at the foot of the mountain is absolutely outstanding. At Lamala you will meet the warmest, kindest and most helpful host and staff you could ever dream of. Every room has it’s own balcony and is nice and clean. The hotel has the cutest dogs who will follow you on your hike, if you like some company. If you like a challenge, try and ask them to play backgammon.

The hotel is situated in an amazing location. The hotel owner is exceptionally hospitable and an engaging conversationalist. The service is notably friendly. The dishes prepared by Chef Sergo are simply exquisite.

Nothing not to like! Everything is amazing!

WOW! This place is just amazing. The hosts are incredible—the most kind, welcoming, and generous people. They took such good care of us and made us feel like family. All the meals we had were hearty and made with love. It’s also the most beautiful location in all of Georgia, absolutely unbeatable. There is brilliant hiking and stunning views. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and every room has a balcony with a view. It so was hard to leave. We will be back!

Sometimes some funny smell came from the bathroom (though everything was very clean). Probably because of the plumbing.

Beautiful surroundings and hospital personnel that makes you feel as if you've been coming there for years. The breakfast and dinner was great and authentic and enough for 4 (we were with 2). We'll never forget that svanetian hospitality and beautiful surroundings.

The house is nice with excellent view, shiny rooms and common spaces. The vegan dinner and breakfast was tasty!! And Madlen, the manager... He is a great man, super fan, very helpful and very very caring! Next time we deffinietly stay this house, it was a special experience with the host and his family!

Maybe improving bit road to the hotel but it doesn't matter actually! I really didn't like that I had to leave this amazing place!!!

This place is outstanding! The view from the room is brilliant! And the Host of the hotel...what a charming and open person!!! I would love to come back. Food in the hotel is absolutely top of the top. Marlen (owner of the property) serves the best food and local wines. Chef Cook prepares the best breakfasts and every day is different! I recommend asking the owner for trips around Ushba and the region's history. Some folk music and performance - an added value!!!!

Pity that we did not have more time to improve horse riding skills through lessons from a former Georgian horse riding champion.

Hotel at a unique location with stunning views. Wonderful and helpful host. Great cooking of honest Georgian food. Nice comfortable hot shower after a long walk from the mountains. Happy that we discovered such a nice establishment, we enjoyed every minute and were sad having to leave the place.

The driveway and the gates to the hotel are horrible, the hotel's owner definitely needs to pay attention to it. And the Wi-Fi wasn't really working in the room)

Reasons to book this place: you want a quiet place to stay, you want a great view over the valley and a fantastic view over the mountains, you come with a dog, you want some horse-riding experience (not living within a hotel, so you need to ask staff upfront and they call @wonderland__horses service who provide calm, clean, obedient, well-equipped horses for the riding) or hiking experience (trails start right from the hotel and hotel's staff can advise you a guide if needed). You can always go downstairs to make yourself tea or ask the hotel's staff to make you a meal, or have a 3-min walk to the nearby restaurant if you don't want to visit Mestia for a meal or make it yourself. And of course, the hotel's staff are extremely nice! All hotels at Maseri are pretty much the same: very simple rooms with tiny bathrooms—I'd even call them basic. So this is something you need to be prepared for, and given a similar baseline, I selected the view and convenience for us and our dog.
