Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

We booked 2 nights ending up staying 4! this says it all. On the last night we arrived unplanned, and we felt like we came back home. Tamara and Ralf are such a wonderful couple and host. They made all difference from "just" a good comfortable room to a wonderful stay. Not in any specific order but I highly recommend this hotel in Mestia. Location is just perfect. anything you need is in walking distance, not need a car for dinner, grocery etc. Street parking just outside the hotel. The rooms are just perfect! excellent size, newly designed, very comfortable bed. The shower was amazing. Heated floor (excellent when its zero temp outside) & hot shower. One does not need more after a day out. The room has a balcony with seating area, and the view is of the village, the mountains and the towers (just as in the pictures)- it is amazing. We requested extra pillows and blanket, and it was provided with a big smile. there is option to request support with laundry. Wonderful breakfast available, good coffee/Tea and friendly host that are there for you for help, small talk, recommendation. Every morning, both Tamar and Ralf provided recommendation on what to do and where to hike. This made the trip for us. I cannot recommend more on their lovely hotel. 4 nights out of my 9-night trip says it all. Thank you, Tamar and Ralf, I do hope we will have a chance to meet again

HungaryAll was good, really. During our first night we had some leakage issues under the sink which was immediately fixed by the owner the next morning, which was finally a pleasant experience.
Hotel was very good standard, especially compared to others in Mestia. Clean, modern room, good location, very nice and helpful hosts. Breakfast was also great, the home made cake was a special treat, as well as the apple juice. Beautiful view from the balcony. The hotel was quiet. Good heating system. Highly recommend to book it.

GermanyEverything was great!
Lamish Hotel is the best you can find in Mestia. It’s located on the side street, so it’s always quiet but at the same time it’s 5-7 min from the center. The rooms are super clean and have everything you might need. But the best part of the every room is a priceless view to the mountains and the Svan towers. Breakfast is very tasty and is served from 8 to 10. In front of the hotel is a free parking. But what makes this hotel special is the owner - Tamara. She is simply the best hostess you could ask for. She speaks Georgian, Russian, German and English and is super helpful. We were sorry to leave but these 5 days in this hotel will stay in our hearts forever. 10/10 - highly recommended.

We had an incredible expirance at Hotel Lamish in Mestia!! The host Tamara is such a lovely person, greeted us with a smile and continued to give the best service all through our 2 nights stay. The hotel is wonderful and has the best views overlooking 3 Svan towers and the most amazing mountain as well as a snow top covered Glacier on the right. The breakfast was just right, and the room with the patio was an excellent choice for us as it was very big and had floor heating!! We couldn't ask for a better hotel and host ♥️

United StatesThere was nothing we didn't like.
We loved staying at the Hotel Lamish! Tamara and Ralf were superb hosts. They were helpful, friendly and generally delightful! The room was beautiful and immaculately clean. Our balcony view was jaw-dropping. Tamara and Ralf recommended a wonderful nearby restaurant, Lushnu Qor, which we returned to 3 of our 4 nights. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. When we inquired about Svaneti salt, Tamara generously gave us some that she made herself. This was one of our favorite places to stay in Georgia! Thank you Tamara and Ralf!

The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to the centre of Mestia. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities. I especially liked the big balcony with a splendid view :) Ralf and Tamara are very nice and welcoming hosts. I wanted to stay an extra night, but as there were no available rooms in Lamish, they arranged I stay in their guesthouse which is nearby.

LithuaniaFor such an amazing place with all the details, breakfast was a bit disapointing. Little selection and hot dishes were very mediocre in taste. I think u can do better and be a perfect place in Mestia!;)))) all the best and would love to come back again!
We stayed in 3 hotels in Mestia and this one was the best for sure! The panoramic view is spectacular, didint want to leave the terrace! So if u see this one available, dont think and grab it since its usually fully booked! We wanted to stay for the second night but no rooms were available. So, in general. Fresh, new, good quality modern design is waiting for u to stay

PolandThe only thing that could be improved is internet connection in the afternoon/evening but apparently it is a problem of the whole town and not this particular hotel.
The hosts (Ralf and Tamara) are great couple and their hospitality is great. They are more than happy to help with everything you need (Tamara prepared special breakfast for our son noting what his likes the most the other day) and can arrange very nice driver if you want to get to Ushguli. Their hotel has one of the best views in Mestia. Rooms are very nice. Last but not least they have very friendly shih tzu happy to play with you or your children.

Excellent place to stay in a great location. Everything in the premises was great but the hosts and their work - most of all. Their carefulness, sensitivity, a sense of taste and meeting the customer's needs made us want to stay much longer. Good breakfast, good wine available, help and support in organising our day - all just perfect. We do appreciate this and we are really thankful - thank you once again - didi madloba.
