Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesWow, this is one scenic place to stay at. You get an amazingly wide view of Tbilisi from their balcony. I was here in December-end, and the walk up the hill in chilly weather on the cobbled paths leading up to their location and the views along the way, all added to the charm of this place. Cabs can pick and drop from their location directly if you don't want to walk the slopes, but most of the bustling areas in Tbilisi city centre are within walking distance from here anyway. The room itself was super cozy with all the basic facilities I needed. Sure the views from this place and the place itself are amazing, but I'll remember my stay more for the people I met there. Host Mari is super nice and friendly and an amazing cook. Running into another visitor Michael was a pleasant surprise. He is a monk from the US, who has been visiting Tbilisi and staying at this very place for a few months every year for the past 20-30 years now! Him being 90+ years of age, with all the life he has lived, you could sit all day and just listen to him speak about anything and everything. And not to forget, the cuddly dog Booboo. I couldn't get enough of him! The night I reached Tbilisi, they were gracious enough to invite me to their family dinner, with Mari, her son Luca, Svetlana, and Michael of course, who is pretty much a part of their family now I guess. The food was amazing and the spread was insane, with salad, bread, cheese, potatoes, beans, drinks, and much more, and almost all of it homemade! And the super tasty and healthy breakfasts that Mari served up...I could barely eat half of what she put in front of me! Unfortunately for me, my trip was a short and hurried one. Next time I'll make sure to have a more relaxed itinerary so I can spend more time with Mari, Michael and Booboo, chatting with them on their balcony, while enjoying the views and super tasty homemade food!

A great and varied breakfast, omelette, vegetable cheeses, etc Large and spacious rooms Comfortable and clean shower and toilets The view from the hotel overlooking the city is stunning even during the day and especially during the night Outstanding service, the staff is really nice and also helps to plan the attractions in the city and the region You can walk from the hotel to a viewpoint of the city and save on a cable car ride that costs money

United KingdomI would advise against coming by car. The streets are very steep, narrow and extremely hard to navigate through. Even the locals struggle in that area and tend to damage their cars. You can get blocked by other cars too when parked.
The AC in the room worked very well. Room 9 was quiet. The view from the terrasse is phenomenal. The hotel is close to the old city, walkable (even though you need to be in good physical condition to walk up the steep streets) . The breakfast was very good (mostly savoury food: vegetables, cheese, eggs, yogurt, jam, bread, bacon). It is served between 8am and 10am. Mary, the owner, is very helpful and relaxed. Boubou the dog was very friendly. We recommend the hotel.

United StatesGetting to the location involves a steep climb on foot, although there are steps. The trade off is that the view is incomparable both day and night.
Hotel at Gomi 19 is very clean, comfortable and simple but with all the basics and the staff is very welcoming and warm. They are Georgians of everyone’s fondest dreams.

AustriaAll good, but with a rental car you need to be a good driver to get up the steep roads or park a bit further down and walk up the hill.
Located in the Old Town, there is a beautiful view on the shared balcony. We could order some wine and were provided with forks to eat our cake. Very friendly and helpful hosts - all in all a very good experience.

United StatesThis is hands down the best place to stay in Tblisi, right in the center of everything in old town. Mari, the owner will become fast friends with you and support all of your needs from taxi rides, to museums, to the best restaurants in town. She is also a fantastic cook. You will eat breakfast looking out in the old kingdom of Georgia. Ask for a room with a view. I will definitely return some day!

PhilippinesGood location also clean and very cozy Georgian feels of the typical homes. However difficult for family specially with small kids because the place is really uphill. At first when we reach there, you need to press the door bell and the staff had some language difficulty. We continued pressing the door bell and awaited almost 10mins outside until the staff came out and she bring her phone and Mari the host of the property was on the other line. That is only the time that they open the door for us. The staff is not aware that they have a guest and the room also is not ready. The floor is slightly dusty, no plastic for garbage, and the small TV also is not working. But that is acceptable. Recommended to have toilet bidet. My suggestion also is do not put a credit card on booking if the property was not accepting. Before I book to property, I need to enter my credit card information and expecting that my booking was already paid. After checkout, Mari said that they were not charging via credit card and we need to pay via cash.
