Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelI didn’t have hot water in the shower for the whole stay, and in this time of the year, which is really cold, it was frustrating. Also, unfortunately they had the worst breakfast I’ve ever seen in my life. The food didn’t look good/fresh at all.
The room was very spacious, cozy, in good condition Location was good Staff were nice Overall good value for the money

ArmeniaMy stay at the hotel was disappointing due to the uncomfortably hard mattress, causing restless nights. Additionally, the bathroom had a persistent and disgusting smell that was hard to ignore. These issues significantly affected the overall experience.
The receptionist tried to fix our issue, she was very friendly and polite but couldn’t do anything about this matter

GeorgiaCentral heating in rooms (that one we booked and the second one that was upgraded) was switched off when my guests arrived, even though the reservation was confirmed by hotel one hour in advance. My guests upgraded the room that I have booked and paid (107gel) for them, roperty has taken additional (140gel) for upgrade, when the same room (Twin with river view and balcony) was declared cheaper on booking.com.

MaltaI was expecting the room to be better cleaned (e.g. the first night we found a used towel hanging behind the bathroom door from the previous guests), and we doubt how well the fitted carpet was cleaned. For a suite in a 4-star rated propery, we would have expected at the bare minimum an empty minibar to chill our water, but we did not. The safe was not working and the bathroom facilities such as the sink and toilet literally wobbled when in use because they got unstuck and left at that. The AC, even if left on a whole night would barely cool the room, and we would more often than not end up remarking about that. Similarly, the wifi was not working properly at all. It worked fine in the breakfast room and in the lobby, but once in the room connectivity would drop down to zilch. Also the size of the bathroom was miniscule in comparison to the rest of the room. Finally, the drapes were getting unattached to the rails and the staff never bothered to fix that.
Incredible view, I do not remember any other property I rented with such a mesmerising view of the old town (we booked a suite), and all of this from a large balcony that ran through the whole length of our room. The room itself was very large and spacious, very well lit with natural light and equipped with heavy drapes for privacy. There were several pieces of furniture which allowed us to comfortably organise our clothes. The staff spoke good English and we found them quite helpful, and the breakfast was quite good. Overall, this was quite good value for the money we paid.

KazakhstanI had a very bad experience which I have never had before while I am a frequent traveller. The WIFI connection was bad and I could not reply my emails. I had reported this problem to the receptionist several times. Before she spoke only Russian with me and my sister. The final talk we had she asked if we could speak English and I replied yes. Nino, the receptionist, started talking to us like it was our problem and she was extremely rude. When I reminded her that I was a guest and it was not my personal problem she said us “Get out”. I was shocked. She wasn’t able to fix the problem and instead of helping us she decided to get rid of us. I was insulted by this words and I and my sister decided to pack our stuff and leave. Nino, the receptionist, went up to our room and wanted to get our passports. She yelled at us and threatened us by saying that she would call police. Honestly, I found it very funny because I wasn’t a criminal there and did nothing to have any problems with local police and I said ok. When I and my sister went down Nino called the owner of the hotel. The owner thought that we would be afraid of the police and started talking to us like we were criminals. My sister and I said “Ok. Call police. We will call our embassy for a help”. The owner of the hotel realised that her employee wasn’t right and started talking to us nicer. We said “Check your cameras if you though we were lying”. We paid for the night we stayed there and left. The only positive thing about this experience is that the owner apologised. However, it spoiled all my day. Threatening hotel guests and raising voice at them is not the best way of interaction and treating people. I would not recommend people to stay there and if they say they will call police don’t be afraid and call your embassy.
Nothing.
