The cottages were beautiful. Cleanliness is awesome. Basic amenities were provided. What was outstanding was the behaviour of the owner. They were extremely polite and helpful and always spoke with a smile, which is rare amongst the Georgians. U get parking within premises.

I could not figure out how to turn down the heating for the space, and it was so dry that we had crazy static in the bed! The space could be improved with a small evening lamp as well, and a shower curtain for the bathroom.

My family and I loved staying at the pine chalet. It was a beautiful and comfortable space for us, with very friendly locals making us feel at home. The babushka was very sweet and gave us fresh milk from their cow, and shared home made pancakes with us :) the granddaughters spoke English very well. We enjoyed a great view of the town and the amazing peaks all around, and it was easy to hike up to the Gergeti church from there, which we did with our 3 year old adventurer!

We opted for this accommodation based on reviews posted by previous guests and we definitely had a delightful stay at this accommodation. Perfect location, perfect views and lovely warm and welcoming hosts. The accommodation was exactly as shown in the picture and the views were simply breathtaking. It is located on the path of the hike for Gergeti Trinity Church. All our requirements were met by the host promptly and on a fine sunny morning, we were treated by the yummiest pancakes we've ever had by the lovely and kind host. Overall an extremely memorable stay. Highly recommend.

We can't recommend this chalet enough and already dream of coming back. It's a very spacious, warm and cosy house in one of the most picturesque areas of Georgia. Very calm and pristine. The hosts are open and kind people, they helped us with every question and treated us with the vegetables they grew themselves and a homemade pie ☺️. Giorgi took us to the cable car when all the roads were full of snow. The house itself has everything you need even for a long-term stay: good water pressure, light, internet, and cooking supplies. Recommended in any season!

If you drive a car, getting into the yard to park the car requires a good driving skill as the street is very narrow. Before going to the cabin, make sure to stock up some snacks as there is no grocery stores in the walking distance.

This place is exceptionally good! Don’t let the streets that lead to this place fools you as the street looks very local and unmaintained. Pine Chalets is located on the very top of the village which makes the best view of Kazbek Mountain compares to all the similar cabins in town. It also situated next to Trinity Church Hiking Trail, good for amateur hikers as the trail isn’t too hard. This place is also a perfect place to stay with friends (You might need to confirm with the host as I think the sofa could be used as a sofa bed too) Hosts are super friendly. Especially, the husband’s Mother and Father even though we had difficulty communicating in English but that’s not a big deal at all. I love this place! Definitely coming back again for the next road trip of Georgia 🇬🇪

The curtains could have been more covering. The door locks are a bit challenging at times.

The houses are on the quieter side of Kazbegi. The entrance can be difficult to find. It is much better to access by car, not walking. The houses are part of the families’ area (owner/host). The view is facing the mountains with no obstacles. We had everything that we need. We made breakfast in the morning and the kitchen utensils are readily available. (You only need to buy oil, there are already salt, pepper, dishwasher). The families are always around and they are very friendly and attentive. Limited English is not a problem as they use Google translate.

Best place to stay in kazbegi. literally! the guy was super friendly, he even drove us around to the market and stuff. The whole apartment is heated so that’s a plus. Great view, Great people, highly suggested. ❤️

Amazing view from the chalet, very comfortable it had everything you need. Perfect location on the way to Trinity Church. The owners are lovely, very helpful and friendly. We had a really nice time in Pine Chalet and would definitely go back! I highly recommend. It’s amazing to Sit on the deck of the chalet when the sun is shining! It is at the top of a hill so a little bit of a walk to town but that’s what make it so enjoyable as it’s away from the “business” of town ans walking past local houses and lands is part of the enjoyable experience :)
