Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandI recently had the pleasure of staying at a hostel at the end of the village in Mestia, and it was an amazing experience! The hostel features a beautiful courtyard and a friendly dog that made the atmosphere even more welcoming. The hosts were incredibly nice, and although the accommodations are simple, they are perfectly adequate for the price. One delightful surprise was being offered homemade liqueur upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. There is also the option to drink water from the local spring, which added to the authentic experience. The stunning view of the town from the hostel is breathtaking and truly enhances your stay. Over the three days I spent there, I met some incredible mountain enthusiasts who are also seeking out such unique places. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Mestia!

LatviaIt would be nice to have an electric kettle in the room.
The accommodation is located in a very quiet area, ideal for nature and tranquility lovers. The hosts are very friendly and ready to fulfill all the guests' wishes. If you choose this place, be prepared for a climb up the hill. The view that opens up is worth it. We really enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone. Thank you :)

Czech RepublicWe would only appreciated some wardrobe to store our clothes in, but it's nothing you can't live without.
This was absolutly amazing accommodation with very friendly and kind hosts. The guest house is located on a hill side not faraway from the center of Mestia, but far enough to be a very quite place and as mentioned in previous comments - with breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. For extra 20 GEL you can request a breakfast, which I can really recommend because the breakfast was very rich and absolutely delicious. The host also provides transportation to the mountains in his off-road cars (which we did not use because we have our own car).

Polandnote that breakfast is NOT included in the price. we paid 20 lari per person (August 2022).
the view is just stunning! they offer ride to Ushguli and many other interesting ideas. also, the road to the guesthouse is wyite steep and you cannot reach the top with car. you need 7 minutes walk on super steep path. so if you have problems with your legs - consider other acommodation.

GermanyUnfortunately, the location on Booking and Google Maps was not correct by the time we wanted to check-in (01/08/24). The telephone number on Booking was not reachable and nobody responded to our messages on Booking. The guest house was hard to find since the are no signs that are leading the way from the gate to the house itself. Be aware that you have to climb a small ladder (kind of hard if you travel with a suitcase). The owner was informed and will be trying to make a change!

SpainRegardless of the photos there are no common space, kitchen or any other facilities besides the room and toilet. This is not nice and you should know before it. Staff makes you feel uncomfortable when asking for some cutlery or anything else, still not sure if they don't understand or they don't want to understand... It is high and steep hill access (last house of the town) and there is no light so be aware if you go for dinner and come back later.
Room is big and clean. Views and surroundings are beautiful and there is no noise as you are pretty high and away from town. It is good to stay a night if you go hike the lakes because it is right on the path. Ideal for resting within a budget.
