Amazing views on Vardzia caves from the hotel. Quiet and clean

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here. The terrace overlooks the stunning views of the cave, the place itself is super nice and cosy, as well as clean and the staff are friendly and very welcoming. I highly recommend it!

We loved our stay at Vardzia Terrace. The rooms are no frills but it was perfect for what we needed and clean. The shared terrace has an amazing view of the caves. The owners are so kind and prepared us delicious meals. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Fantastic location with impressive views. Walkable distance to Vardzia cave monastery. Host made sure we have everything and called a minivan driver to pick us up near the hotel road when we were leaving

The location and the view over the cave city are amazing. The hosts are super friendly and even though we arrived a bit late, they prepared a super delicious and fresh dinner for us. The rooms have everything you need and the big terrace is a great addition.

Google maps showed us a wrong direction. Pay attention to the billboard with the name of the hotel on it.

The view from terrace was stunning, we asked for breakfast for extra payment, it was simple, homemade, but good quality. Room was exceptional clean.

Nothing really, we were very happy.

Very comfortable apartment across the river from the caves. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot. The owners were lovely and the dinner that we had, cooked over an open fire, with local wine was both delicious and excellent value. Whilst the room was not huge, there was a great terrace outside where we could relax and where our dinner was served. Highly recommended.

Clean hotel, good views, we can see cave monastery on the big platform just in front of the room. It takes about 20 minutes to get there by walk.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable, I could feel the springs from the mattrace pressing against my back.

The location was great, quiet, with lovely views of the valley and the caves. We opted to eat dinner there too and have a lovely and very filling meal of fish.

We didn't spend much time in the room but it's a comfortable walking distance from Vardzia cave town (I think it took us about 20 minutes) with a fantastic view of it from the balcony which is reason enough to pick this guesthouse over the other limited options in the area. Standard Georgian breakfast and I think probably one of the better ones we had during our trip. I don't think the owners have much English but are very friendly and accommodating so it didn't really matter. Nothing to do with the hotel but it's worth knowing that if you're arriving by marshrutka, it will stop and let you out at the driveway if you let them know you're staying here- our van's driver even organised to pick us up again at 9.30 the next morning which made getting in and out of the area quite straightforward.

The location across the valley from the cave complex is magnificent. The dinner of fresh trout from on site and other food and local wine could hardly be bettered. But above all the friendliness of the family who run this small hotel was the real bonus. Their information opened doors for our walks in the region so we saw more than we expected we could.
