Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Dinning was too cold
Wonderful location with spacious comfortable rooms. Very good food. The gardens were beautiful and so was the view. We had terrible weather. In good weather this hotel would be even more fabulous

The wifi could've been faster, however you don't really need it in such a splendid location.
Brilliant property right by the cavetown of Vardzia, gorgeous views, stylish design inspired by local craftmanships, nice restaurant both for dinner and breakfast.

Fantastic location to visit the Vardzia monastery. The views from the front of the hotel are fantastic. We received a free upgrade and the hotel was very quiet but still made the most effort to take care of us. The food in the restaurant was excellent and they lit fires throughout the hotel making it feel cozy and warm.

Fantastic hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant and the views are incredible, at both day and night! The staff are extremely helpful and it is the perfect place to relax after visiting the monastery or doing other hikes. The gardens are delightful (don't forget to visit the chapel!) and the on-site restaurant is brilliant!

The place is beautiful. There's a playroom with pool tables we used which was fun. Breakfast was good. Location was closeby to the Vardzia cave.

The location was fantastic although it was raining when we arrived. The staff were very helpful to show us how the heating worked in our room. The views were wonderful and breakfast was good in a lovely dining room which made the best of the location. The room was comfortable and the kettle was most welcome to make hot drinks. Overall a good stay!

Spent a night in a cold room. A heater warmed it up just by the morning. The bathroom is not heated.
A nice hotel at a good location with a view of mountains and proximity to the cave town. Kind staff. A good breakfast.

One thing, the room was left by housekeeping with windows widely open. It took a lot of time to heat the room.
Great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The check-in was fast and smooth. Breakfast was served on time. The food was fresh and tasty.

Lovely location looking at the mountains. Close to the Vardzia Cave town. Fine grounds and pool. Very nice. Breakfast was ok. Restaurant food and wine was great.

It had a surprisingly small bathroom for a family room, nor did it offer enough seating in the living space, with just two chairs in total despite the size of the room. The single large table acted as TV stand, coffee station and desk. But there were too few electric outlets overall: we needed to unplug the TV to set up charging for phones and the twin beds shared just a single outlet. Though the resort was generally very quiet, there seemed little insulation between the floors so we could hear the family above us walking and talking, and the noise of some very squeaky floorboards.
The family room was the only option left for us. It was big, two rooms, one with large bed and the other with two beds and the living space. Beds were comfortable. The room opened onto a lovely terrace for our use only. The heating system worked well. The resort offers beautiful grounds with lots of entertainment like billiards and pool, which enticed one to stay much longer - and a very fine view of canyon. It's located just a few minutes from Vardzia caves. Breakfast very many options, with eggs to order, and tasty. Staff was excellent and helpful.

Absolutely wonderful! Exceeded my every expectation! It is built very thoughtfully, has multiple sitting areas, nice swimming pools, a very nicely landscaped garden, various facilities for leisure, wonderful staff, superb location. In other words, it is a really very nice hotel! Would recommend it to others without any hesitation!

Very nice hotel with a wonderful mountain view from the balcony and a lush garden with swimming pools. Very close to the Vardzia monastery. The bed was comfortable, too.

Staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was very good, the pool and the location is superb, it is one of the nicest hotel I have been in Georgia, the location to visit Vardzia caves is very convenient and it is offered a shuttle service to the caves for free
