SpainWe stayed here before and we had room 206, so when I re booked I asked if I could have the same room, when we arrived I was told that they could see on the system that I had requested the same room but it was unavailable. Couldn’t check in at 15.00 and finally got my room key at 16.15, they did give me a complimentary bottle of wine to make up for it. However when I got to my hotel room there should have been complimentary bottles of cava, there were none, we had to ask 3 times for them. Also, I found 2 long hairs on the pillow, one blonde and straight and one black and frizzy. I took the hairs down to reception and the guy behind reception didn’t really care. He just phoned the housecleaning manager. I asked if I needed to stay and he basically waved me away as if I was being dismissed.

JerseyThere are a couple of points I need to make: 1. On check in we were not given the option to set up an account on the room so needed to visit reception again to arrange this - this should be offered at check in 2. On check in we were told about the 24 hour gym but not asked if we wanted access so we needed to visit reception again to sign the waiver form and get access - this should be offered at check in 3. Pillow menu is great but I asked twice for a pillow (the first and second day of our 4 night stay) and didn't receive it on either occasion or for the rest of the stay so I gave up asking! 4. We booked breakfast at reception on 2 occasions and on both times the restaurant had no notification of this and tried to charge us again in the morning when we went for breakfast 5. The bar at the pool didn't always have the correct ingredients or equipment to make the drinks on the menu so they needed to compromise
The hotel was lovely and in a lovely location. The pool was great, lovely facilities and the room was comfortable with good beds. The gym is very well equipped.

JerseyNo working wifi on arrival. Unable to check in at 2pm even though we had contacted the hotel months prior arrival that we would be looking at arriving between 1 and 2pm. Again months prior to arrival we asked for a room on the higher floors but ended up on the second floor. Went to the pool bar and as the till didn’t work then no drinks were served.

United KingdomLifts very slow. A lot of waiting as need lift to get to 8th floor. Restaurant for breakfast is small, so on occasions tables not available. Pool is situated on rooftop with very little shade. Guests tend to hog sun loungers and tables.
Room 800 is a good location with wonderful views. Quiet, at the end of the floor. Convenient for breakfast and pool.
