Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomStaying on the first floor. I'd recommend requesting a higher floor.
Really nice receptionist - alas didn't catch her name but very sweet. Perfect location for getting to cruise ship - €8 to port. It's a cheap hotel and I arrived late so perfectly suited my needs. Just don't expect luxury.

United KingdomWe didn’t realise that the bedroom window was open when we went to bed. It was very noisy in the street below the hotel at 4 am. We got out of bed and closed the window. Was it our fault or the fault of the hotel that the window was open... you decide.
We found the hotel quite easily. We arrived in Piraeus by bus from the airport in the middle of the night. The google earth research and printouts we did prior to travelling proved very helpful.

SingaporeThe toiletries could have been better using Greek products
The location was accessible to all amenities by walking distance. Near the tram station and restaurants. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There are only three rooms per floor and they are all clean, simply furnished compared to big known hotels but okay for a short stay. You have to bring your own toiletries though as the ones they supply may not be according to your preference.

NetherlandsIt was difficult to find, because on Booking the map was showing incorrect loaction. There was also a lot of noice from ventilation somewhere out of my balcony.
The location for further trip by ferry was perfect, just few minutes walk from the port. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

CanadaThere was no view, infact our window looked at a brick wall and wires. It was not an issue as we were there for only one short night, and the room was clean.
Location and price. It was very close to the port and for where we were going to catch our ferry the next morning. The room we had was large enough for a family of four and had everything we needed. This is a budget hotel, and for a one night stay and an early morning ferry, it was exactly what we needed. Added bonus. The person working the front desk the night we arrived was amazing. So helpful. Sorry, I cannot remember his name.

AustraliaMy friend found the bed slightly uncomfortable. It was okay for me, but not fantastic.
The property is close to the port for ferry’s to the Cyclades. The room is very functional and spacious for 2 people. In the morning, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful, providing us information on how to get to our ferry terminal and the perfect place to grab breakfast on the way!

Canadabathroom- while very clean, the shower does not have a door Security - while it's a safe hotel, you must leave your key at front desk each time you leave. They leave key on top of desk (leaving opportunity for anyone to pick up your key) Parking - no free parking on site. Parking downtown Pireaus is a nightmare. Take the metro!
LOCATION: DOWNTOWN, within 5 mins walking distance to Metro (direct from airport); STOP dimotiko theatro, less than 10 min walk (3 blocks away from SeaJets Pireaus Ferry port); The Bread Factory (bakery) on the way to the Ferry port Clean updated hotel. Room- Clean, 3 beds felt slightly cramped but for 1 night it was fine :) Reception- Extremely friendly (Nadia) and helpful with directions. Abundance of restaurants within 5 mins walking distance (of any price point) Main shopping promenade is 1 block away
