The Acropolis View Hotel is an absolute diamond right in front of the Acropolis. The ancient sites, museum and the Plaka are just a few minutes by foot away. We had a room with an extra bed, yes the rooms may not be huge, but a good night sleep is guaranteed and we have not found a single thing, that we did not like. Also to park your car is absolutely possible in the streets. Obviously the roof top is simply spectacular. This hotel is everything you need.

Great location for the Acropolis. Roof terrace was a major bonus. Breakfast was a good range of sweet/savoury, with buffet style. There was no limit to the number of times you could go up. Rooms were well sized. Unfortunately (room 202) we had a view of the messy, building site of other buildings. Our other rooms 205, 203 had views over the park next to the Acropolis. Staff were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and chatty with us.

Located within walking distance to the historical centre of Athens and the metros, the name of this hotel does not fail to deliver. There is a fabulous terrace on which a wonderful breakfast buffet is served and the view is spectacular. In the evenings the views are also amazing and we enjoyed drinks up on the terrace. The staff were fantastic and attentive.

Our only downside was the beds were twin size, but they were comfortable. We just would have preferred a queen bed.

Breakfast was wonderful, had a variety to choose from. Staff was very helpful in giving advice on places to eat etc.

Our last hotel on our two week trip to mainland Greece. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Location to Acropolis cannot be beat, friendly staff who provided us with lunch and dinner options. The rooms were small which can be expected for any hotel in a big city but to our surprise both the beds and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace with a view of the acropolis was a great way to end our trip. Both the sunsets and sunrises watched from the rooftop were spectacular.

There is a problem with the pigeons. They don't come near while your there but if you leave your food for a second, they will steal it. Or if you don't like birds, there is a glass awning, protecting you from birds without obstructing the view.

Loved everything about this hotel. Very close to the Acropolis. The advertising photos are not doctored, you really do get that view from the Roof Garden and some of the rooms. It's clean, comfortable with lovely staff. An added bonus, when we were there, on both nights there was a concert in the Acropolis that we could hear from the roof garden. Although your in the centre of a busy city and at a major tourist destination, the roof garden is silent. Breakfast was great, with a variety of foods to suit everyone, best breakfast I've had in a hotel 😋.
