Streets are narrow, but we could pass

Very fresh air in the evening. No need for air condition. Nice breakfast. Fantaastic view from hotel. After 6pm, we were in shadow of hill, no summer heat.

The matress was hard, there is no air conditioning in the room, which makes it hard in the summer months. There is also no screen on the window. The GPS gave us misleading driving instructoins to the place; you should turn left and down just before reaching the main parking for the village. The road is challenging

A charming hotel away from the main street of the village. Quiet and offering beautiful views. The breakfast was delicious and rich, with a wide variety of options, although lacking a homemade touch to match the vibe of the place. Kind and helpful host. Beautiful terrace to enjoy your coffee. Great value for money. The hotel is in the lower part of the village, hence the tranquility; a steep path leads to the main street which was not a problem and gave us opportunities to see the less touristy parts of the village and enjoy the architecture, but should be considered for someone with difficulties.

The road to the property suggested by google was severely damaged by recent floods. Please ask the staff for directions for a better road for your arrival.

Wonderful little hotel with a breath taking view. The breakfast prepared by the staff for our early departure was fabulous. The village of Markinitsa is amazing.

Loved everything about it!

The propriety is beautiful with gorgeous views and and the perfect balance between traditional and modern. Staff was super helpful and the breakfast was very tasty every morning. Ask them for the best beaches around and they will point you to the most gorgeous locations. We definitely wanna come back!

The beds were pretty hard. The road had been washed out so it was tough to access with our 9 passenger van. It was a little tough to navigate the steep walkway and stairs for the older members of our group. That said, the challenge was totally worth it. This village was amazing!

The view from this hotel is outstanding. The breakfast was good and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was very good - omelette, toasted sandwiches, croissants, juice and coffee. On our second day we said not to worry about the croissants and they bought us salad and feta instead. Delicious!

The signs are not in English. I stood right in front of it and didn't know it's a hotel! Parking can also be a challenge

My fault that we were further from the bus stop than I had expected. We could have walked but our host very kindly offered us a lift. There is also a kalderimi path up the hill to the centre of town, rough under foot but very scenic.

Birdsong and running water were all we could hear from our room. A lovely hotel with a beautiful terrace, great views and wonderful breakfast.

My recent stay at the apartment in Makrinitsa was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with impeccable cleanliness that left a lasting impression. The dedication to maintaining spotlessness was evident throughout the entire accommodation, setting a high standard for cleanliness. What truly stood out, however, was the warmth and kindness of the staff, particularly the patriarch of the family. Their genuine hospitality made me feel welcomed and valued throughout my stay. The breakfast provided was not only ample but also delicious, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. It was evident that the hosts took great care in ensuring their guests were well-fed and satisfied. In terms of value for money, this accommodation surpassed expectations. The quality of service and amenities provided far exceeded what one would expect for the price paid. However, it's important to note that the route to the property poses a bit of a challenge. The roads leading to Makrinitsa from Volos have been damaged by the floods of 2023, making them potentially hazardous. I would strongly advise future visitors to seek guidance from local authorities regarding the safest route before embarking on their journey. Despite this inconvenience, I am already looking forward to returning to this charming retreat. The exceptional service, combined with the idyllic surroundings of Makrinitsa, make it a destination worth revisiting. Overall, my experience was truly memorable, and I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in the area.

It’s a nice and lovely place with friendly and helpful host:) The heat was just great and the bed is comfortable. I also had really wonderful breakfast:) I had really good and relaxed time here. I wish I could visit here again in the future.

The location is amazing, with great views and relatively easy access to the centre of town (it's a steep way up, but that was to be expected). Generous breakfast served on a scenic terrace. The stuff very very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

I think that the bathroom can be a bit improved .

breakfast was from fresh local products kindly served by the hosts and the view from the window and from the hotel terrace were amazing....the owners are the ones who in addition to the kindness, showed generosity(we benefited from free accommodation and shared the reserves of food together) and courage in the conditions of the catastrophic floods for that period... that's how I discovered the qualities of the Greek people that I read so much about.... ...we are very grateful and thank God and them once again, will be back again next summer💖
