There wasn't anything I didn't dislike , the only comment here I could make is perhaps our room could do with some drawers? I had to keep anything that didn't hang up in my suitcase, but everything else was so lovely - this was a minor inconvenience.

We had the most amazing stay last week at the Adrakos Apartments. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at home. The location and views are spectacular, we booked the junior suite which has the added bonus of a fabulous terrace and jacuzzi. The maid came daily and it was spotlessly clean. The Terassa resturant is a particular highlight, Despina is absolutely lovely and felt like a friend by the end of the week! We hired a car so we could explore, however on the couple of evenings we didn't want to drive down the hill into Elounda town, we called a taxi which was very simple to do. There are also plenty available to bring you home and it was a flat fee of €10 each time. A few of my friends have already asked for details after seeing our photos and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these beautiful little boutique apartments to them (even though part of me wants to keep it as my own little secret place!) Not per say a dislike but the location is not within walking distance from anything, so definitely consider renting a car when staying here!

We were expecting some useful information as part of our check-in (is tap water safe to drink, should we not flush toilet paper, etc) and also some recommendations for activities or must-see attractions in the area. We would have liked better communication in English in general. Also, the bathroom in the room could really use some renovation or even simple upgrades: the shower was particularly uncomfortable (the showerhead can be easily changed at least) and not completely clean when we arrived.

The view is unbelievably beautiful, truly a privilege to look at. The room was comfortable and well equipped, with a nice balcony to have breakfast in front of this wonderful view. We also appreciated the welcome gift with local products and the pool.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Family run, friendly and quality caring service. We ate there one evening then decided to book two nights to experience it all fully. Lovely location on the edge of Elounda which is a great place, more low key, clean and friendly public beach, close to restaurants and nice shops. The hotel staff were really helpful and kind which simply made our stay !! Food is delicious and drinks esp cocktails 🍹 made with love. 💚 Will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff!!

Nothing to dislike!

Everything, the only tiny markdowns were, like most rooms everywhere, only one pillow. We didn’t ask, our fault. More a suggestion than a fault, a toaster in kitchen would open up many more warm snacks. MOST IMPORTANT was the incredible treatment by the friendly staff (and Manager/Owner?). I fell ill with an ongoing surgery problem on the 4th day and had to book a flight home 😞, cutting our 10 day vacation short. The Adrakos were fantastic in helping and offering a non deserved credit. Wonderful decent people ❤️

We had a small problem with the AC. sometime it took a while until we managed to make it start working.

The apartments are beautiful and clean. The balcony overlooks the sea and the mountains creating an unbelievable view. Great value for money, couldn’t recommend it more. The restaurant was also super tasty. although it is more expensive then the other restaurants in the area, the difference in class totally makes up and justifies the price. The pool was also very clean and very fun to be at overlooking the incredible view.

Only thing missing was the feeling of genuine heartwarm hospitality. There were small moments of smiles etc, but overall it felt a little unwelcoming.

Our apartment was near the kitchen and it was very noisy at night. No cutlery in the apartment. The shower wasn't completely water tight and the bathroom floor got very wet.

Wonderful location with panoramic helicopter view over the Elounda bay. Spacious & comfortable room, nicely decorated with full amenities. Clean, hospitable, discreet & courteous personnel. Its location (including the embedded culinary Terrassa restaurant) is an oasis of accommodation, unique view, & delicious tastes. We thank Kostas & Anna, Despina & the serving team for the wonderful week we spent at their premises.

Lacking in basic kitchen utensils and crockery. No bread knife (sharp knife). One wine glass!

The view from our balcony was fantastic. Panoramic across the whole bay. To sit in the evening and just marvel at the view was so relaxing. The apartment was a great size and the shower was so refreshing.

I can't think of anything that should have been any other way.

Staying at Adrakos Apartments in Elounda, is like entering a little bit of paradise. The rooms are cosy, the view spectacular, the breakfast is perfect, but the thing which makes the stay at Adrakos really stand out, are the owners, Anna and Kostas and their wonderful team. I have never had such a warm welcome at a hotel, had such interesting conversations with various staff members - and never felt so sad leaving my vacation-home. We will be back for sure! P.s. I recommend booking a room upstairs, for the view - and I also recommend having a car to be able to easily get around to the neighboring villages and lovely beaches.

The flat had a large balcony with a stunning view of the ocean and mountains. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was incredible. The service here was 11/10, easily the best service I've had when on holiday. Really kind and fun staff that really add to the atmosphere of the place and make the stay perfect.

Nothing to dislike - but a car is necessary to enjoy the area fully.

The views were just wonderful, so spectacular and restorative. Our apartment 28 was spacious with a comfortable bed. I liked that there was plenty of wardrobe space too. The large patio with a sofa and little table a chairs to enjoy the views was much appreciated, Both morning and evening. The pool was a decent size, clean and quiet which suited us. Although the decor in our room was a little old fashioned, it was rustic, homely and very clean. Breakfast is good and plentiful, but the stars are staff and family who run Andrakos apartments and the amazing Terrassa restaurant. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We would return for the above reasons but would most likely rent a room different from junior suite with the jacuzzi. They need more shade options for the Jr suite’s deck area and more comfortable outdoor furniture to really enjoy it. A dresser would make it more appealing for longer stays as there is nowhere to unpack clothing other than in a closet with hangers. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, but the choices are decided by the staff.

The view is everything as it is perched above Elounda. The location is great if you have a vehicle…Agios Nikolaus on one side and Elounda in the other.

Breakfast is very rich, lots of choice, although non-Greek coffee was charged as extra. The restaurant nearby is open till late, maybe noisy but we closed the windows so it was not a problem:

Fantastic location with a view on the bay of Elounda. We got upgraded to a one bedroom apartment with a huge terrace and we appreciated the big space very much. The apartment was clean and well designed, with lots of lights even at the bed (which is not always the case at other B&Bs). The pool was good sized and we enjoyed swimming there.

I actually have so many things to write about this adventure that I have no idea where to start! Completely spontaneously I have decided (last minute) to visit Crete because someone very special to me was there and I booked everything quickly for a weekend, without knowing where I head to and what to expect! This place - Adrakos, has blown my mind away! First of all, the location and surroundings! The position of this place is so magical, that you get to see the most beautiful landscapes and at the same time enjoy the peace and quietness which is (for most of us) needed in order to relax and rest. Whoever is reading and needs a hint before deciding: YOU WON'T REGRET, TRUST ME! I would like to continue with: (the most important thing for me personally) The STUFF (Greek people❤️) is EXCEPTIONAL!!! From the first moment I arrived there, I felt like homecoming. They take care of you with dedication, love and passion for their job. No matter how difficult it might be, they invest 100% of themselves into this and it really makes a difference. Thanks to every single person I have met this weekend there, thanks for making people happy and for being so warm and kind! Facilities: everything was clean and tidy. The rooms (apartments) are well maintained, equipped and organized. I loved their pool, gardens full of beautiful flowers and plants, and chill local vibe with adorable music in the background. Their very own restaurant Terassa is also gorgeous with delicious homemade, local, food and the meals I had there left me completely satisfied. If you get to eat there, apart from the food, you'll get to eat with the best panorama view ever! The breakfast option is also a good idea if you stay here, wide set of options served and literally there is always something for everyone to eat (up to their diet preferences).
