Nothing! We really enjoyed our stay.

Staff were superb! Cannot thank Nikolas enough for making everything so special. We were greeted on arrival with local alcohol and fruit even though we arrived very late at night due to flight delays. The facilities were perfect for our couples holiday - lovely pool, close to the beach, yum breakfast every morning. Jacuzzi on the balcony was added extra! Plenty of towels and toiletries supplied - different towels offered for shower and jacuzzi and pool. On our last day our flight home wasn't until the afternoon but Nikolas kindly let us leave our bags and there was a separate private showers we could use after being at the beach before our flight home. 10/10 hotel, can't recommend enough.

Very occasionally there was a bit of noise from the street that we could hear in the room but this comes with the great location in the middle of Kamari.

Nikolas and his family were so helpful, it was really their attentiveness and kindness that makes this hotel a fantastic place to stay. The hotel is in a great location, 5 mins from the beach and not far from the ruins of Thera (well worth a visit).

The pool was a bit small and the rooms didn't have a particularly good view.

Great family run hotel with spacious rooms and a great location. The breakfast was very decent. All in all it was a great experience and we highly recommend it.

We had a really nice stay in the hotel. We loved our apartment and our terrace. The cleaning service was perfect.

We ran short of shower gel in the room, but honestly, that was not a big deal at all. Perhaps you may want to look at slightly larger bottles for the shampoo and gel and body lotion, to possibly reduce the plastic wastes going fwd?

If I have to start somewhere, it will be the breakfast. On our first day, we arrived at 0800H, which was before the front desk was manned. Yet we were warmly welcomed to partake in the breakfast spread, which we found out later, was wonderfully prepared by Maria. Once we were good to check-in, Nikolas went thru all the briefings professionally yet cheerfully. And he was always helpful in answering our queries and offering recommendations. Our stay in Aegean Gem was simply superb, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who is planning a trip to Santorini. Even though Kamari is supposedly a "quieter" beach, we just love it for the right mix of restaurants, shops, and peace. To our dearest hosts, Maria and Nikolas, efcharisto! We are already missing you, Santorini, and Greece!

Nothing everything was great

We had such an amazing stay. Nikolas is an excellent host and very attentive. The hotel is beautiful in a central but quiet location a stones throw away from some lovely restaurants and a 5 min walk to the beach. The property was very clean, housekeeping came every day and the breakfast was lovely. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Nice location, 5 minutes walk from best beach on the island! Nice room with hot bath jacuzzi! Lavish breakfast, with lots of fruits and vegatables! Very kind and helpful staff! All of our wishes were resolved, offered the perfect restaurant, suggest and booked freetime activites! We will return next year that is for sure!

We loved everything about the property however the neighbouring properties/view wasn’t the best but that’s not the fault of the hotel. It is well positioned with close proximity to the beach.

We loved Aegean Gem. Fantastic service, real family feel. The hotel is clean, well maintained and modern. Everyone is so friendly and nice. We felt welcomed and well looked after. We would love to return again.

At some point we had to go home. We would have loved to stayed for just a little bit longer.

The most wonderful holiday has been spent in this lovely hotel with the nicest hosts. We have had a blast of a stay. This wonderful place has the perfect size and accommodations if you want to feel like you are staying with your best friends in Santorini, and the hospitality and kindness of the hosts makes you wish that you could stay just a little longer.

The room was pretty small, many Insects around the hotel. Breakfast was good but should have better variation.

Nicholas was amazing host! very welcoming and helpful in any question. location was really close to everything. parking in the hotel for free. We really liked the pool and hot tub.

We stayed for three nights at Aegean Gem and we couldn’t fault our stay! The hotel was stunning and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic stay! We would recommend this hotel to everyone! The location was perfect for Kamari and the bus to Thira is less than a 5 minute walk.

Limited hot food options for breakfast. Sky windows in bedroom have no covers and so the room is light from sunrise to sunset.
