Air con unit on balcony could be heard a bit at night not enough to wake up, but if awake slightly annoying. Likewise sitting on the balcony air con unit could be a little intrusive, However, these are converted properties and compromises have to be made. It’s a lovely place and if I had same room again would not be disappointed.

Staff were superb. Breakfast was fab, either in the restaurant or on the rooms balcony. Spotlessly clean Friendly black cat.

I hate that I have to leave... wish i could spend more days there...

The hotel is amazing and perfect for honeymoon, we booked it based on a recommendation from a close fren who stayed for their honeymoon last year in the same hotel. We arrived around noon time, and was informed that we got a room upgrade! Yeay! Entering the room, the aircondition is alrdy on welcoming us, there is complimentary welcome drink and a bottle of wine too. The room is spacious and well decorated. The bathroom is cozy and romantic (would be perfect is there is a bathtub!). The bed is comfy and the pillows are soft yet firm. The view is breathtaking, the sunset is perfect from the balcony, just sit back relax with a glass of wine while watching the orange ball makes its way into the horizon. The staff are very kind and understanding, they helped us to carry our luggages up down the staircases, they serve breakfast to our room balcony, carry bottles of drinking water whenever we need, helped us to arrange for transport to and flo the hotel as well as bike rental - basically well rounded and we really enjoyed our stay feeling happy, relax, leaving all worries behind. The breakfast, is superb! Vast variety of selections, we cant finish tasting everything even though we stayed for 2 nights. Yogurt is super yum! Bread and pastries are fresh and crispy, cold cuts, omelettes, salad, juices, tea and coffee selections all available, with complimentary local dessert too.. (drools everytime we think about the breakfast). Overall, there is nothing that disappoint us. We pray hard that we will have the chance to return one day to this wonderful place that we can even call home. Totally no regrets!

Everything! The view was to die for. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff (especially Nikolas) went out of their way to ensure a wonderful holiday. The location was central to everything but quiet.

Beautiful hotel with superb staff - nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent a la carte breakfast served to our room terrace, which had a spectacular view over the caldera. Special mention for Leon, who made our stay even more special.

Oh the WiFi. There is barely any signal in the bedroom, but I guess it has to do with the architecture of the traditional buildings. The walls are simply too thick for signal to penetrate.

That our itinerary didn’t permit us to stay longer.

What a memorable experience! We were treated like royalty, even though we stayed for one night. We stayed in the magnificent Maestro suite with its private balcony overlooking the caldera. Breathtaking! Excellent service and very attentive staff. Our stay included a extravagant and delicious a la carte breakfast and a bottle of local wine. We absolutely loved and enjoyed our time there.

Great location, 5 mins walk from bus station. The room has stunning sunset view, and the hotel has a very lovely entry! Staff were very friendly, and gave us thorough explanations of going around Santorini.

There's nothing , not to like

Absolute fantastic Hotel in Fira. The rooms are large, private, beautifully furnished and it is a pleasure to stay at the hotel. The staff is extremely service minded and always just a call away. At Aigialos Luxury you feel very welcome the moment you enter the hotel door. The location is very central, there is a nice calm in the hotel and the breakfast is delicious. Absolutely highly recommended for guests who expect a higher but also more relaxed atmosphere. Aigialos is our place in Fira from now on..

My iPad got stolen whilst I was taking a shower. A very bad experience during my stay at the hotel. They made no effort to explain or resolve what happened and I had to go to the police on my own to file a complaint (who said they would send a report explaining what they found out in 15 days) but the most ALARMING thing is that the robbery occurred while my wife was in the room taking a shower, so keep that in mind if you are looking to stay here.

We had an absolutely amazing time!!! The staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating - even though we arrived almost 10pm. They were exceedingly helpful with reservations, both for activities and for dinner. The breakfast was delicious and served on time, the room was clean and spacious, and the view? To DIE for. The hotel is perfectly situated- 5 min walking distance to everything, but super quiet at night. Highly recommend.

swimming pool is too small to swim, but there are some beaches on the island, so it's fine.
