We loved staying here. The flat is comfortable and stylish but the best thing is the position - right on the water. The views are wonderful and you can swim from the private jetty just under the house (though slightly cold in April!) Vassili and Ileni were helpful and attentive hosts.

The kitchen is fairly well equipped, just a shame there is not a full size mtaching hob which seemed odd as there is sufficient space. Although if you plan on cooking then utensils are a bit limited as is storage space for food items. But these are minor details. Very limited storage / wardrobe space - if you were staying for longer than 3-4 days you may struggle with where to put your clothing etc. so you need to travel light! The only thing we really didn't like...that we had to leave after a blissful 3 days!

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Uninterupted spectacular views of the Ithaca coastline, mountains and sea...and silence in abundence...pure bliss! We knew THE VIEW would be pretty special having passed the property several times on previous trips to Ithaca, however, it's not until you walk into the apartment you get the full appreciation of that view! The apartment is fairly well equipped with the essentials and its easy to self cater if you wanted to as there is a superb full size steam oven, small hob. Always plenty of hot water, very comfy bed and comfy outdoor furniture.

No complaints! The only thing to note is a car is necessary as the property is maybe 30 minutes walk to the town but less then 5 minutes by car :)

I’ve visited Greece many times to many different islands and this quiet little apartment was by far one of my favourites! It’s situated in an empty bay with no other properties around and has private access to the ocean with a swimming pontoon and deck chairs, super relaxing!

Stunning. What a view. Best view in Vathi & only a few minutes drive into town. And so peaceful all you hear are the birds. Beautifully appointed with such attention to detail nothing was overlooked. Excellent wifi, Comfortable bed, couch with such an amazing view it is like you’re on a ship. Warm and cozy on a cool day and cool and breezy on a warm day . Fabulous shower . Great cooking facilities too. Vasilis and Eleni were gorgeous and welcoming hosts, available for advice and great tips . We loved it all so much we booked for 2 nights but stayed 7!! We will absolutely return .

For those doing wanting to self-cater, a few more kitchen utensils like a vegetable peeler , chopping knives and grater etc would be useful.

Magnificent view. Tasteful , stylish and top quality decor , appliances and furniture , including powerful shower and extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Service of linen change mid week. Thoughtful and generous welcome gifts. Responsive and helpful host throughout from booking , arrival and stay. Easy access to the sea below the accommodation. Quiet location and no noise from other guests. Perfect stay and will certainly return and recommend to others.

There was nothing that we did not like. There should be a couple of wine classes at the premises. Otherwise, the house is excellent!!

This is an exceptional place to stay in Ithaki. You can go for a swim right just by walking down a few meters. Wonderful waters and if you turn left and swim for 15 minutes you can access a very small secluded beach. You can inhale all the ionian breeze and if you are lucky like us you can even spot a very large sea turtle at the middle of the sea in front of you right from your balcony. The hosts are most welcoming and friendly. Ask them to have some excellent suggestions for top restaurants at Vathy which is a few minutes drive away giving you access to everything that you might need during your stay.

A luxury gem in the beautiful island of Ithaca with a stunning view, situated close to all the local amenities and between Vathy and the port of Piso Aetos. Vasilis (and his adorable family) was always available, very helpful and very professional and friendly!! He was responding immediately to our questions and gave us very useful tips/recommendations for restaurants, sights to visit, etc.. The suite is very beautiful, spacious, stylish, well equiped (also with high quality toiletry and bio local products offered by the owner) with an amazing view. All in all, if you are planning to visit Ithaca and wish to indulge yourself, staying in the Akasha Suites is a MUST! We will definitely visit Ithaca and stay at Akasha suites next year again!! We have found our paradise in the island of Odysseus!!

It's not quite certain what it wants to be. Minimalist is fine, but it lacks a bit of soul at present. Then the various appliances need user directions, as these aren't obvious.

Beautifully located and a place with lots of nice detail. It has an excellent shower and easy access to the water. It is very light and airy and increasingly grows on you over the days.
