The Albatross Hotel is in a convenient location with very good public transport links; restaurants, cafes, a supermarket and bakeries. There are rental opportunities for transport nearby. Although there was an issue with the shower room, this was addressed immediately. Staff appeared within 5 to 10 minutes of my notifying Reception. Following assessment, the problem was then rectified within about 30 minutes. (I was impressed with the speed and effectiveness of this response.). Generally throughout my 7 days' stay, I observed staff to be working very hard, yet remaining approachable and professional. The hotel is kept very clean throughout. The lady who cleaned my room was particularly pleasant. My room opened onto a terrace next to the swimming-pool area. The pool was cleaned daily. The paths, and adjacent areas around the pool being swept every morning and tidied every evening. The breakfast area is managed very well. Staff are vigilant to ensure it is replenished appropriately and consistently cleaned. Staff seemed to pay good attention to detail. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and catered for. I would stay at this hotel again.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from Fira, offering both convenience and tranquility. The pool was stunning, providing a great place to relax. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day.

Pool closes at 9 pm but I sneaked for a dip after 9 and was ok.

Very nice property. Clean and well maintained. Large pool. Apartments big and comfortable with balconies. Bakery near by open 24 hours with great food. I stayed 2 nights but I wish I stayed there 5 more. Great place to decompress.

Reception staff really friendly & helpful, answered all our queries. Were also able to book trips & taxi for us. Location perfect, easy walk to Fira but also bus stop outside if preferred. Pool was a welcome relief at the end of the day. Beautifully clean. Wifi worked perfectly. Room air-conditioning worked well, beds comfortable & room clean. Restaurant round the corner called Katerina's traditional restaurant recommended by hotel was very good, delicious food, great service and very reasonably priced. Only had a long weekend but thoroughly enjoyed all round. Thank you very much!

We loved our stay here! We received a very warm welcome by staff, and they were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Beds were comfy and the room layout was great. Breakfast was also amazing; great variety and options. The pool area seemed awesome, quiet during the day, and a beach bar at night! The location of the hotel is great too. Short walk to convenience stores, restaurants, and bus stop is a 30 second walk. It was perfect for what we needed.

Very nice hotel near Fira center, easy walk to bus station and to restaurant. Breakfast has plenty of choices. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Quiet A/C! Big fridge to store cold water or beverages. Nearby supermarket, bakery. Pool is great. Overall nice experience.

Nothing we did not like although I'd say the breakfast times were 8 to 10 however when we went to the restaurant after 9, certain foods would have finished and around 9.15 more than half of breakfast items would have gone. We spoke to reception and they took appropriate action which was great service again.

Perfect location! This hotel is literally only a few steps away from bus stop, supermarket and lots of restaurants. Also has couple of cafes one of which is 24/7! Only 15 walk from the capital Fira! And buses cost 2 euros and get you from this area to fira in 4 minutes! Staff were so friendly. Reception staff: Bana and Maria, and all restaurant staff were super polite, friendly and would go out of their way to help you. Peaceful, comfortable and quiet atmosphere. The owners often hangs around the lounge area and greets guests. I requested to reception last min for a surprise decor in our room for when we returned at night on my husbands birthday. And the staff went out of their way and did lovely little decor, along with cute cake slice and balloons. Once we had hot water issue and when we called reception, they got someone to check it straight away and fixed it within minutes. The service is so fast and great.

The hotel is in a perfect location,only 15 minutes away from the center and the beach. We had our room upgraded as it was my birthday and Maria ( the hotel service agent) surprised me with balloons and wine. She made our holiday exceptional and comfortable. We deffinately recommend this hotel!

Location was perfect - Short stroll into Fira. Restaurant at the end of the road sells authentic Greek food - simply delicious. Deluxe double room was fantastic, prefect size, we had pool view - simply beautiful. Staff always happy to help with a smile. Everything within close distance - we hired a buggy - lots of choice and very cheap. Public transport is regular. Bus stop very close to the hotel, end of the road - 2 minute walk. Would i visit Santorini again? Yes, would I stay at Albatros again? Without hesitation.

You pay for a pool towel, but everything else was very good. Safe and quiet place to stay.

Breakfast was good. Good range of choices including omelet, bacon, salads, pastries, cakes, toast, meats and cheese. Juice. Coffee from machine was just OK. Location is convenient to bus stop, and 15-20 min walk into Fira. Lovely big pool, with bar for drinks. Very clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful to explain which bus to take to visit different areas of the Island. Great brewery/ restaurant just up the road 10 min walk.

Ideally located just 10 mins walk to Fira. Everything you need is beside you, shops, cafes and bus stop. Extremely clean hotel with very friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings by the pool and very private. Highly recommend.
