United KingdomThe moment we arrived at the property we felt welcomed and at home. Our room was incredible and our private hot tub was an great addition to our stay. Everything was super clean and considered. Dimitri and his family were always there to help us with anything we needed. They offer booking experiences for your stay and can organise pretty much anything for you at the drop of a hat. Breakfast was delicious and every morning we received something different. There is also a Bar and Restaurant which we do recommend trying. We loved it so much that we had 2 dinners and a lunch there. Dimitri makes a great cocktail! We have been travelling for the last 3 months and this has been the best place we have stayed. Hopefully we can come back someday.

We were lucky to spend a long weekend with Dimitris, the owner and our host @Amara Suites, Kamari, Santorini. He is the best. Great team, first Dimitris and his wife, She is the best chef in town, he’s the best host - a combination of kindness, perfect personality and professional host and a bar man. Rooms are brand new and clean, and once you leave the room in the AM the staff is cleaning it with no delay. The pool is very clean, accessible and available and is inviting. The food is delicious. Breakfast is big and tasty, and includes everything, in different flavors. The homemade cakes are better than in a French bakery. Location wise, Amara suites is located 180 seconds walk from the Kamari vibrant beach and promenade. No need of a car or a bike, not for immediate environment that includes 50 gift shops and 120 cafes and restaurants, all well designed and lighten at night. And it is 7 min drive from the airport. Very convenient, and between 15-30 min drive from the other beautiful villages like Oia, Fira and more. As I said, great location. It was very nice to be back to the hotel and meet Dimitris on the Bar, like he has been waiting for us. On our check in we arrived early, and a bit sick … Dimitris took care of us, let us rest by the pool (comfortable bed and mattresses) and even tough our room was ready to check in he smartly didn’t wake us up, and let us rest while preparing us delicious fruit plate. We will be back and recommend everyone to. Enjoy your stay!

United KingdomThis hotel was booked for my birthday by my husband and I have to say that I was sooo happy with it. It was very very clean, the owner Dimitri and his family were fabulous. They have us a friendly smile, were always happy to help and offered advice of where to visit, how much things should cost so you can ensure you are getting the best value for money. It felt like a home away from home and although it’s not in the capital fira or nearby town of oia where there are hotels or villas on the cliff this is so much better because the other places do not offer much privacy as you constant have tourists hovering outside your windows and doors, whereas here you have all the privacy you want with your own personal spa bath, in your own balcony attached to your room. The beach and restaurants are at your doorstep and the food cooked by his wife is delicious, I would recommend the tzatziki and tomato dumplings, they were to die for. The nearby places are also only 20 mins away and another benefit is airport is close too. I honestly can’t say enough about this hotel and the owner dimitri and his family it was an absolute pleasure to be there and they couldn’t do more to go out of their way to help you. I would also recommend booking the catamaran sailing trip through the hotel too, it was amazing! Can’t wait to send my family here ❤️

United KingdomTreated upon arrival as family, Dimitiri and the team host a truly brilliant atmosphere. Situated a mere two minute walk from the beach and Kamari Centre, the location is perfect. All requests/needs are catered to and we couldn't stay anywhere else if we were to return to Santorini. 4 days/5 nights felt too short but this won't be forgotten.

We had a wonderful week stay in Amara Suites hotel, the hotel had a warm family feel to it and Dimitris looks after all the guests making you feel at ease straight away. The hotel itself has modern facilities, having your own private jacuzzi was defn a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully every morning, there was plenty of seats by the pool and our entire trip was very relaxing.

I don’t normally leave a review however because the staff were so great and our where we stayed was awesome too, we decided to leave one. The staff stayed up really late to let us in as our flight was heavily delayed. The breakfast was really good. Our room was 9.5/10. The only drawback was that our pool out the back didn’t get that much sun however we just used the main pool. The manager and his son were so polite and helpful and the food was surprisingly good as well.

This is a unique location situated in beautiful Kamari, away from the hustle & bustle of Fira and Oia, but yet very accessible to each corner of Santorini. A family run business, Amara Suites has everything to offer by Dimitri and family. From the moment you arrive you will receive an extraordinary Greek welcome that will make you feel instantly at home. The whole team that run the property must be commended for the level of attention to detail that they offer. From home-cooked meals, to luxurious accommodation, you will find it hard to leave the property and explore the island! But, when you do, you’ll enjoy the beach and town of Kamari which is just a stone’s throw away. Thank you!

The place was beautiful, a family run business and you can tell from the passion each family member had and wanting to make your stay is a great one. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was one of the best if not the best I have ever has. Celine was lovely serving every morning. Lunch well who doesn't love handcut chips! I'd recommend the Club sandwich. George, worked on the bar greeted us with a lovely warm smile and loved the chats ever day. Dimitrios the owner never stopped and knew ever guest name, preferred beverage and made sure no one wanted for anything. Organising our quad bikes, boat trips and recommendations on what to do and where to go. The ladies in the kitchen thank you! Location is perfect near the beach, shops and only a short distance to Fira and Oia

Perfecto!! Exceeded our expectations in every way!! A small Hotel that made our stay very personal and enjoyable. We have never been in a position that we have been completely happy... and not have anything to complain about - So this is a first!! The service was fantastic they were very welcoming.. Breakfast was a Fantastic feast, Rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable with all amenities. Owners were a fantastic lovely family, staff were very attentive to all of our needs and truly made our 5 days very special. Good fresh food with a fair choice, convenient for staying in and relaxing. All facilities were very clean and well maintained - lovely decor George was the best barman - Good cocktails. We are a family 2 adults and a Daughter in her 20's and son of 12 (who was the youngest person at hotel) Everyone had a fantastic time. Good location to sightsee, close to the beach and all amenities. Made some special memories with both Owners and guests alike. We will definitely return x

Everything. The room was spacious, clean, comfy and just stunning. The pool area was relaxing and quiet. The food was full of flavour, we really enjoyed every meal! We looked forward to getting back and enjoying some cocktails by the pool every evening too. We were really taken care of from the moment we walked through the doors. It was a first class experience throughout. Something we have never had before with all inclusive large hotels. They took us in and made mine and my partners time so special. It was everything we needed and more.

Breakfast was amazing - freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, croissants, cake, fresh bread, eggs, feta and spinach pie and more! The beds were very comfortable and the decor was simple but stylish. The room had everything you expect from a great hotel but was also spotlessly clean. Dmitri was always available to help organise any transfers (with good air conditioning!), a fantastic boat trip with Santorini Star, winery trip to Santo Winery, we felt very well looked after! We often ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and my children loved the meals at Amara more than anywhere else - Elena is a fantastic cook! Kamari is also only a few minutes walk away for many bars, restaurants and water sports. We enjoyed stand up paddle boarding on the beach.

United KingdomWithout a doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We choose to stay at Amara Suites as we were in Santorini for a wedding but also extended our stay for our own honeymoon. The room was perfect and the jacuzzi on the balcony was the icing on the cake. Nothing was ever too much for Dimitri and his family and you are always greeted with a massive smile. As for the hotel, it is in a fantastic location, just a 2 min walk from Kamari beach front which is ideal. The vibe around the pool is very chilled and peaceful which allows you that much needed escape from the front. Last but not least the food, breakfast was amazing and any meal we had at the hotel was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much Dimitri and family.

This cozy hotel is managed by Dimitri, who went out of his way to make us comfortable - and did so successfully. The pool is lovely, and the breakfast scrumptious. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and clean, and we enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi in the private balcony. The hotel is just 5 minutes by foot to the beach.
