Great location, host was super nice, room was ok, bed was Hard. No heat, or at least I could not figure it out. Had AC, but we had a very chilly day. Love the old European feel with curvy cobblestone streets. Great Stay.

The shower pipes were covered in black mold (in the room with the balcony). I live in the UK I come on holiday to get away from things like that. It would be so easy to scrub them down and paint over them. Otherwise, the place is perfect for a budget stay.

Lovely; owner, room and fabulous location, a beautiful balcony. The help-yourself coffee at the reception is a nice touch. Staff lovely, they fixed a temperamental door key, and when the roof leaked one night they changed the room for my daughter. You need to add your key to the key holder inside the room to get electricity to work. It took me a while to figure this out!

Loved the value for the money. It is a classic old building with woodwork and antiques, and the owners are fabulous. The reason why I didn't give it a complete perfect was because of some little old tiles, etc. that could be redone, but otherwise no complaints. Everything was spotless and location is perfect. My husband uses a wheelchair and had to get up 3 steps to get into hotel. But otherwise was perfect. I totally recommended for your stay.

Lovely old building just a short walk from the ferry. They let us check in early. Our room had a little balcony and everything was comfortable and clean.

Shower was very small!

Simple, traditional rooms with more charm than you’ll find on the mainland. Really helpful staff who make sure you have a ‘base’ on the island from the moment you land until it’s time for you to leave (early check-in on arrival - at no extra charge - and having somewhere to store my luggage until the boat departed & use a loo on my last day was great). Great location - close to the port and the shops & restaurants. Highly recommend.

Easy access from the port. Close to restaurants, cafes and shopping. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and clean. This is a lovely historical property, but the shower is a bit small and maynot be comfortable for a larger person.

The owner is the best! Wonderful and welcoming. Tucked away a minute’s walk from the port, on a quiet cute street. Beds are comfortable, shower pressure is consistent, Netflix etc available on the television in case of a (rare) bad weather day like we had. Convenient fridge in the room as well and a pod coffee machine in the lobby. Exceptional value, especially for a place like Hydra

There’s no shower holder on the wall so you have to secure the hand shower all the time

The room is simple but there’s everything you need. Location is super central exactly where you want to be Better than home, the hotel personnel are very helpful, free espresso and a lot of politeness and availability. I give the maximum because they deserve it.

nothing! but it is near a bar thats open late so if you like your doors open at night you may find the noise a bit loud without earplugs

typical greek pension on the most practical end, with balcony, space to dry your clothes, room changed daily if you wish, coffee and tea and a kettle. communal roof terrace where you can dry clothes and see the whole town. very well located near everything if you want to be near shops cafes and restaurants, very friendly owner to help you with anything you need, easy to come and go

The location was amazing, right in town and a very short walk from the port. The owner is so kind and helpful, and provides lots of extras like beach towels & tea and coffee. There’s also a lovely shared terrace that was a great place for breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

Ensuite shower/WC was very tight, but they'd made use of very limited space. and was ok for a short 2 night stay. Safe didn't work, but I was reassured my Michalis the room was very safe

Location was near the port, so very close to all the main restaurants and bars. Double bed was comfortable and A/C was appreciated. Fridge and kettle with basic coffee etc was welcomed.

Fantastic, dreamy location! Extremely friendly, kind and accommodating host. Even had an iron and a small ironing board included in the wardrobe in the room, which came so in handy for the party i was attending! Would definitely come again!
