Everything was great! Of course, less expensive would be nice and maybe a bit closer to town, but we really enjoyed staying at Anemoessa.

The staff were amazing, really made you feel welcome! Thank you, Irini! Very nice breakfast, comfortable room and bed, nice quiet area away from the crowds, but not too far to walk to the action.

I liked everything.

Starting with the front desk Peggy, she was incredibly helpful and all the time smiling with a great attitude, breakfast were delicious and the room was exactly as described and the hotel was close to the bus stop and that allowed us to move everywhere, we enjoyed so much Oia, thank you to all the staff members for a welcome service.

We loved our stay at these beautiful villas just outside Oia! Anemoessa Villa is about a 5-10 min walk from Oia, but we actually preferred staying slightly outside Oia as it felt a lot more peaceful and relaxing. The pool and design of the villa's are perfect and we loved eating breakfast by the pool every morning. For dinner, there's some great local restaurants just around the corner from the villa's (a 2 min walk) which we much preferred (than in Oia) which had the best atmosphere and fantastic food. Our rooms had large, comfy beds and air conditioning. The hotel staff were amazing too! Very friendly and provided so many wonderful recommendations.

This was a fantastic place to base ourselves in Santorini. Nice and relaxing but easy access to all the sights. Ohia is an easy short walk & the bus stop is only minutes away. Staff were amazing and helpful & the facilities were spotless. Felt welcome even before we arrived. We were very sad to leave

The bed was a little hard. Our first night it seemed very noisy as we were right at street level and lots of traffic and people.

The breakfast was fantastic. Each day was a bit different for hot items. They even had peanut butter! Coffee was very good. Person who was helping and cleared dishes was super. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Anemoessa was the perfect start to our five-island adventure in Greece, and it made an unforgettable first impression. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Penny at check-in, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. Our room was charming and spotless, with a lovely terrace overlooking the stunning pool and breathtaking views. The entire property exudes serenity, making it feel almost like a retreat. On our second day, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Irini, who made us feel like family. She graciously took the time to share invaluable tips about the island, which truly enhanced our experience. Thanks to her recommendations, we enjoyed an incredible three days on Santorini. Breakfast each morning was another highlight, freshly prepared by the kind and attentive Angie. All of the staff were equally warm, friendly, and eager to help, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The location is ideal—close enough for a short, safe walk to the heart of Oia, but just far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet away from the busy tourist areas. Though we were excited to explore other islands, it was hard to say goodbye to Anemoessa. We left feeling like part of the family, and without a doubt, we will stay here again on our next visit to Santorini. Exceptional hospitality and an impeccable property—I couldn’t recommend it more!

There were enough food options around, but we were at a point craving for some Indian cuisine, which is available in Fira. I would suggest feel South Asian travellers, if your taste buds crave Indian food while travelling, stay in Fira.

The breakfast spread was really nice, and so was the view from the pool area. We are had our room facing the pool area which gave us amazing views.

Beautiful property in a great spot just a 15 minute (mainly flat) walk from the main hustle and bustle of Oia. The rooms are beautifully designed - modern and comfortable - as is the lovely pool area. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and breakfast was great - lots of choice and different options each day. Overall great value for such a highly touristy location.

Nothing - it was perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Anemoessa Villa! Irini, Penny and the rest of the team are so friendly, welcoming and super helpful. Our room, designed in the style of the local cave houses, was so nice and had a fantastic view of the Aegean Sea overlooking Ios. It was really comfortable and cool in the hot weather, the breakfasts were lovely, and the beautiful pool area was amazing. The villa is short walk to all the action of Oia and the caldera, but just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There’s a small mini market and a great local taverna a short walk away that has traditional live Greek music in the evenings. Finikia village is also nearby and definitely worth a visit. I would highly recommend Anemoessa - thank you Irina and team for an unforgettable holiday! 😊

The pool area is very relaxing and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. The terrace is a big plus.
