Everything was good, the room, the staff, the pool and especially the view.

it is a bit stuffy in the air in the room, especially when the shower is just done. it is windy outside but no wind would come into the room. it took a while to have the floor in the restroom to dry.

the breakfast is so good like we are having it in a brunch restuarant. the view is so nice and it is beautiful in the hotel. there are some lovely cats having sun bath.

The room was sparsely furnished & the bathroom, especially the shower, needed major scrubbing and/or remodeling to get rid of mildew stains. A kettle was provided when requested, but there was only one bedside lamp & they could not provide one for the other bedside table. Bed was too firm for us, but the linens were of good quality. In general, this hotel has a great location, but is in need of renewal compared to our stay there a few years ago. It was the end of a very busy season & showed it. If we return, we would be more selective about room choice. High winds largely confined us to our room, and we needed the interior to provide a little more comfort.

Breakfast was creative & tasty. Selection is made from a menu the day before & brought to your table the next morning, which is efficient given the limited space of the breakfast room. Staff are friendly & eager to please, but we missed interacting with the local owners who had been on scene when we stayed there some years ago. It seems like the labor force on the island are all from somewhere else! The view is phenomenal, but it was very windy & we could not sit at the lovely pool or on our terrace to look at it. We booked a room based on its terrace with caldera view, but had to settle for looking out some small windows.

We really loved our stay at Apanemo. The views were breathtaking - waking up to it was especially wonderful. The staff were extremely attentive and nothing was too much of an ask for them. We thought the facilities were excellent and the rooms very clean.

Not the fault of the hotel but very windy by the pool. Extremely cold pool. Sometimes staff a bit too eager to take away my plates, usually before my wife had finished her meal

The friendly welcome and willingness of the staff to help us with whatever we wanted - whether it was with sight-seeing ideas, booking a restaurant in town, or reserving an ATV for us. The breakfast was amazing - so many choices from a range of local and international dishes. The infinity pool and view across the caldera.

A great location with stunning views. Nice to be in a slightly quieter part of the island but still easy to get out and explore. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful with arranging trips etc. Delicious breakfast. We had a really amazing time here.

The food provided at the hotel was overall disappointing and considering the hotel is further away from most things, they should have a more complete room service menu and quality

Staff and the service was absolutely amazing. It reaches the level of a 5 star hotel. Dimitri was a very good driver and staff, he really helped us with everything. The reception was also very helpful.

There are stairs in the room to the loft where the bed is. They are narrow and steep and can be a bit tricky in the middle of the night. Just need to be mindful.

Smell in the shower-sulfurous gases coming up through the pipes. It would not go away. However, this was a very minor issue and did not detract from our stay.

Exceptional staff that will go above and beyond to take care of your needs. I’m not easily impressed and this was definitely one place where the owner and the staff take care of you like you’re their family member. Beautiful and quiet place, with amazing views of the caldera. Restaurant at the hotel was very good and we chose to eat there several nights. Breakfast is excellent, cooked to order and included in the rate.

We really enjoy the views …but what will always keep in our mind and memories are the people who make this place out of this world with their hospitality and daily smiles. We will miss them…and will really miss this place already even we traveled all over continents..

Property is a gem. Extremely beautiful views, kind and friendly staff ready any time to answer to your needs and wants. The breakfast is also very tasty and plenty of choices to choose from… The fresh orange juice made our day and the espresso coffee pods will offer you a restaurant like experience.

It would have been great if there had been a few twin bed room options. The matresses were a bit soft to our liking. But these are very minor points in what was a most relaxing holiday in heaven.

Loved the calm, serene atmosphere and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Also the free rides from the hotel to Akrotiri and the paid chauffeur rides to nearby sights were a great added service. The breakfast selection menu was delicious and the small restaurant did an amazing job :-).
