The television would not turn off. When raised with the staff they said someone would look at it the next day, but no one did. I needed to hang sheets over it. However, on our last night, which was particularly cold, the AC did not work, and the gentleman at reception arrange for repairs immediately. It may have been a language barrier but the staff, with the exception of one gentleman (who took a while to warm up to me) were very blunt and not very helpful. The housekeeping staff were very lovely though. The breakfast was very poor quality.

Did not feel too safe after dark, lots of gangs hanging out, around certain blocks.

Excellent value for money. great restaurants not too far away, city sightseeing buses stop about 50 meters away. Stop number 13.

I think the rooms look a bit cold and not inviting. The cushioning and bed covers could be of a different calibre to be comfortable and overall a more cozy feel. The bathroom didn't really exhibit anything local and the staff began collecting the food and drinks precisely at 9:58 (2 minutes before 10:00 when breakfast is over).

I think the location is excellent and the hotel in itself is functional.

Hotel was on a noisy crossroad. Noise level was high due to the door to the balcony having a broken door closing mechanism and therefore the full effect of the secondary glazing was not felt.

Very convenient for the Metro station which was about 300 meters away. Towels changed every day.

The furniture is pretty old and not everything we were given for breakfast was tasty.

We were looking for a place to stay with three criteria: location near to metro station, room with attached bathroom, and good included breakfast. Hotel "Apollo" matched our expectations almost 100%. The young man at the reception was very kind.

Too big for a family of 4. Not really too bad.

Central to many attractions in Athens. Train station, hop on/off stop and taxi stand just around the corner. Nearby the Bread factory!

Breakfast was disappointing. The food didn't taste like anything. Even the fruits were spoiled. The bed creaked with every movement during the night. The soundproofing of the rooms was poor. The sounds of neighboring rooms and emergency vehicles heard.

The location was good. Bus stop right in front of the door. The room and toilets were clean.

there was a strange drain smell that came & went in the bathroom. breakfast was quite limited in the choices and the hot food servings were not very warm. not really a complaint but maybe they could chose a different way to present the hot food under a heat lamp or similar.

The bed was not comfortable, they should change the mattress.

It is very well located and has a great view of the acropolis. the breakfast was very good although we had the same options every day.

Main issue was the noise - the street is very noisy all night, and it was loud even with closed windows. Maybe not the case with the hotel rooms but it was the case in the apartment.

We had the apartment - it is huge with 3 bedrooms so practical for a family. The hotel employees were nice and helped us when needed - we appreciated it. It was old but clean

Bathroom has no heating, so it is not warm enough to take shower in winter time. The windows are not sound isolated, quite noisy. But I remembered to bring earplugs.

The breakfast is very good. The rooms are big and with enough tables and cabinets.

The staff was rude and not very friendly. Only Aldo was kind and helpful. The rest were pathetic.
