The mattresses and pillows were a bit hard but we asked to change them and our sleep was great after that. A bit outdated furniture and appliances but that didn’t stop us from having a great stay.

Good location, near the sea. Friendly staff member who helped us with everything we needed. The cleaning lady comes every day if needed to change the towels and bedsheets.

A very good price/performance ratio. The landlord is a nice person, very helpful (advices for trips, help with car rent). At arrival, bottle of water, bread, butter and jam was prepared in the fridge for our first breakfast. And the best bonus has probably been a nice tavern just across the street, which moreover offered a beach (the best one in Amoudi!) with free sunbeds with parasols and tables, and probably the best drinks and food in Amoudi.

Hotel was nice, cozy and comfy with airconditioning. There is a supermarket nearby and also some restaurants. We went to the hotel by car. There is parking space in front next to the hotel. The host was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Location was great. There is a restaurant at the other side of the street with great greek food and free beds and beach where u can swim. It’s with sand at the bottom so soft for the feet. This all is like in front of the hotel only a few steps away. It’s perfectly located.

A beautiful and peaceful place, just in front of the sea, The room was pretty nice, very clean, with a fantastic view. The landlady and her daugher were available for any request, and we could obtain the room in the morning just after our arrival. Moreover, the landlady left some products for breakfast and, I must admit, it was really wonderful to have breakfast on the balcony every morning! Ammoudi is not reachable by public transfers, so you need a car (or a taxi) to arrive at Calipso Studios. Close to the structure there is a supermarket, few tavernas, a rental for cars and/or scooters and, just in front, a peaceful place where you may have sunbeds for free in exchange for eating or drinking orders.

It was super clean! The owners are nice people! It was a pleasure to meet them! We could see the sunrise from our bed! It is located in a quiet area. There is a supermarket nearby. The kitchenette is equiped with everything you need! The shower cabin has glass walls and not a curtain, whish is great! Across the street there is a family taverna with good food and service, where you can use the sunbeds for free and can go for a swim (water access is not deep). We spend some afternoons in here and had a good breakfast in some mornings.

There is nothing I did not like about Calypso,but I did find that public transportation, if you do not have car is unreliable, perhaps in the high season it is better. I am also a walker, and I did walk around the area on different roads, and I found the litter on the sides of the road disappointing. Zakynthos is a beautilful island, and I wish people would be more respectful and not throw litter anywhere, there seems to be a good trash collection program,so it could be used more efficiently

There are several wonderful things about Calypso studios.The first is the staff..they are available, helpful, pleasant and attentive . They go out of their way to make your stay easy and comfortable.I was especially appreciate if that there was someone to meet me , give me the keys ,and show me around .The second is the grounds . The beautiful garden around the studios are exceptionally beautiful , tended daily, a lovely cool spot to sit and read a book or have a drink. The third is the area…it is very quiet and there are several beaches you can walk to and enjoy without being disturbed by too many others. They are quite private, at least when I was there. The studios are comfortable and has everything you need, lots of hot water , each with a balcony that faces the sea, so there is a great view and the cleaning is superlative. I give Calyspo studios and the staff a five star rating!

Bed may be more comfortable. It's not the greatest quality and bounces quite a lot when either partner moves, but it's more than acceptable for a week of vacation.

Very clean apartment, host super kind and available to help. The position is outside of crowded touristic areas and very close to some amazing little beaches and beach clubs. Housekeeping every day, at flexible times. Very nice view from the balcony.

The quads that drive past this stretch of coast (small road) and do not use the main road. These things are way too loud. However, the studio can't do anything about it!!! Some of the rooms could be modernized.

Very nice and accommodating hosts. The location on the coastal road is away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, which is very good. Directly opposite there is a recommended tavern where nothing is missing. After a short walk you have a wider choice of taverns and a supermarket. If you are mobile and like things more turbulent, you can quickly get to Alykes or explore the island with all its facets.

Ilias was very great host, kept contact with us on Whatsapp if we needed anything, he also recommended a number of great restaurants and programs! Great seafront view, calm neighbourhood and Alikanas is 8 mins away by car. Room was clean, daily cleaning was on spot and well equipped. Also the property looks really nice with all the gardening stuff! Right next to the property there is a bar and some more restaurants/bars in the little town and also a grocery shop.
