Location was amazing. In all of my travels this was by far the coolest place I have ever stayed at. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and were wonderful people. This is a bucket list place to stay. I cannot rate it highly enough.

Staying at captains boathouse in Klima was a dream! A authentic cozy space with the most beautiful location and the hosts were phenomenal! Always checking in on us and they even carried our suitcases from the car to our rental! Cannot recommend enough :)

Amazing location right by the water with the best part being enjoying the sunset from the terrace and jumping straight into the water whenever we felt like it. The hosts were attentive, friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. This must be the best place to stay in Milos. We give our highest recommendations 😊

Very minor - be prepared with some grippy sandals as it is slippery outside of the property

We had the most unforgettable experience in Klima. The boathouse had everything we needed for a relaxing time (air conditioning, cooking appliances, towels, outdoor area) and the owners were accomodating and communicative. It is in a prime location to just disconnect, watch the sunset views and the waves lap by the door. The restaurant around the corner serves some amazing seafood too. Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Everything was great.

Despite being an actual boathouse, the Captain's Boathouse did not disappoint at all. Its location is amazing and it had all the amenities one expects these days. Communication with Giannis and Giorgos went smoothly. Giorgos welcomed us and provided valuable information and instructions about the accommodation. They were extremely flexible with check-out time, which we found quite helpful. We appreciated the outside seating area which not all of the ground floor units have. Would definitely recommend it to family or friends.

Constant stream of people walking past, looking & taking photos. If the tide is up or a larger boat passes, the water will cover the walking path & wet your shoes.

Klima Beach is a beautiful location but it is quite tricky to find your way there & your own transport is a must because you can’t walk out of the area. The restaurant right on the beach was lovely. The Boatshed was small but adequate & clean.

Location was perfect, few steps and your swimming in the clean sparking water. Perfection. Restaurant near by, excellent food and right on the waters edge. Property clean just a little tight in the bathroom. Wish we could have stated longer.

The location was absolutely amazing. Open your doors to one of the most incredible views on the island of Milos, the water lapping up against the barrier, a super soothing backdrop to our stay. The boathouse was stocked with many kitchen utensils suitable for cooking which was great as Klima is quite remote with the exception of one restaurant Astakas. Recommended having a scooter/quad to get around the island from Klima. George the host was the most friendly and helpful man, him and his son were very attentive to our needs during our stay. We will definitely be back.

What a truly wonderful experience staying in a converted boat house steps away from the beautiful water. The hosts were outstanding - friendly, kind, funny, responsive, and caring. The place had everything you need while still possessing all the charm of its former boat house day. The shower was small, as expected. But the tiny curtain does not prevent water from spilling out on the floor. Maybe replace with something more practical. But minor issue, only.

The boathouse is exceptional and the staff (Giannis and his father) are very kind persons. The exterior porch is wonderful location to sit and take in the Aegean sea (or simply watch the hoardes of sunset photo seekers). The interior is wonderful and quite romantic. The location is very nice--close to Trypiti and Plaka, even walkable if you dont mind a little hill. The very same hill where Aphrodite of Milos was found. If you take the dirt trail from the parking lot, you can visit the catacombs and ancient Roman theatre on the way. The restaurant Astakas is 100' away and was the best joint we found for seafood fans on all of Milos. Also best for sunsets. 10/10.
